Secret Service Can’t Find Tons Of Its Guns, Phones, Badges And Cars

DailyCaller:

Thousands of sensitive assets belonging to U.S. Secret Service agents, including firearms, computer laptops, work badges, telephones and even motor vehicles, have been lost during the past 15 years, according to documents obtained by nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch.

“This is supposedly an elite law enforcement agency — how did all this equipment get stolen?” or lost. “This is alarming. Every American should be alarmed about this,” Judicial Watch’s Irene Garcia told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

  1. This why President Trump should not count on the Secret Service to protect him. Someone has all that lost gear and could use it to get close enough to kill him. His own security will do a better job, and are better vetted than anything the goubmint can offer.

  2. ThisObamaNation ; The Secret Service are a bunch of glorified Security Guards.”
So when have you put your life on the line for someone else?
When have you stood in the freezing rain, or burning heat to protect someone else?
When have you been spit at, cursed, mocked and attacked for protecting lives and property?
All the while having to grin and bear it and collecting cheap wages.
When have you been looked down on for taking a job that is made fun of by people who have never faced danger or a hoodlum with a gun? The only job available because of democrat assholes.
    Screw you.

  3. @ mr. butt hurt proud to have been a security guard

Would you like a little cheese with that whine?

You sound like a guy that decides to be a mechanic and then complains about his hands getting dirty. When was the last time a SS agent took a bullet for his principal? When Reagan was shot? I don’t know, I’m just asking?

A Bering Sea crabber can tell you about freezing rain and welder about burning heat. Government and entertainment are the only places I know that pay expensive wages. Lots of people face danger or hoodlums with guns. It just isn’t in their job description which I guess you didn’t read before you took the job.

You may have noticed a threat of muslim terrorism. San Bernadino, Ft Hood , Orlando, Boston Marathon, ect. In nearly every case there were warnings that were ignored by security services and common folks died as a result while you were protecting the elites that enabled the terrorists in the first place.

    Thanks for your service!

  4. I deal with the world as it is, not as I think it should be. I never applied for any security or law enforcement job so I was unaware fame and fortune were in the job description. I’ve had a few jobs that were unsatisfactory for whatever reason. Quitting and doing something else requires sympathy from no one.

  5. One of my favorite conspiracy theories is that the shot that killed JFK was actually fired by accident by an inept SS agent in the car following the presidents. The only reason he was on that detail is because the agent whose place he took was too hung-over from partying wiyh his fellow agents the night before. This theory is believable to me because I heard years ago after a presidential visit from local LEOs what a bunch of hard-partying, hard-drinking, arrogant assholes the SS is.
