Progressive politicians from the Swedish Green Party have apparently discovered a more nefarious menace to women than the gender wage gap – piles of snow blocking sidewalks and cycle paths.
The logic? Well, according to feminists, men are disproportionately favored by traditional snow-clearing routes that targeted major roads during snowstorms. Thus, women are neglected since they tend to use cycle paths and sidewalks more.
The solution? Initiate a city -wide effort to reallocate and reroute traditional snow plow operations to “equalize” the gender imbalance.
Gender equal snow removal means babushkas with snow shovels. Hop to it.
