Ethiopian Ant Threatening To Become A Global Menace

Scientists have discovered an ant species in Ethiopia’s forest that form “super colonies,” making them a real threat to other bio-systems if they ever escape their homeland.  Only 20 other ant species are known to meld their colonies together to dominate huge areas of land and some of these have become invasive when found in other parts of the world.
