So far, I’ve noticed that almost all the stories and commentary
about fake news are coming from purveyors of fake news.
It is an interesting display of recursion:
the stories about fake news are themselves fake news stories.
It’s all about the money. Fake news sells better than real news.

for 40 years, we’ve had a steady diet of fake news dressed as real. Now, when the tide is turning against the false prophets, they start calling real news fake. More of this type of lies and innuendo will make even the moderately rational democrat turn on them.
The most famous seven words in American journalism – “All the news that’s fit to print” – took a permanent place 115 years ago in the upper left corner, or left “ear”, of the New York Times masthead.

“All the news that’s fit to print.” was catchy. But Bill Buckley changed it to “All the news that fits,” and today it’s “All the news that’s fake.” Yellow journalism at its best.
