2. This is perfect to share with my new sweetie. To those of you who followed my agony after Mrs. Mxyzptlk’s long illness and death in 2015 (and thank you for the kind words and prayers), last Spring I contacted an old friend (first met her 50 years ago – hadn’t seen her in 30 years) to tell her of Patti’s death. She has been divorced for 25 years. Her kids used to call me Uncle Mxyzptlk back in the day (quite a mouthful). But to cut this short – we have hit it off and will be married this Summer – that’s right: a new Mrs. Mxyzptlk! If I can just teach her to pronounce it properly (something even I struggle with).
