Milo Yiannopoulos: Why the hate?!

PatriotRetort: If you read PatriotRetort.com with any regularity, you know I absolutely love Milo.

But before I ever heard him speak, I admit that I had a negative opinion of him.

I confess it was influenced by conservative writers who perpetrated the notion that Milo was some “alt-right, white supremacist.”

But one of the things I’ve learned – often times through trial and error – is I should never form my opinion based solely on the opinions of others.

So instead of listening to the chattering complaints of these self-described curators of conservatism, I decided to sit down and watch a few of Milo’s speeches for myself.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that Milo Yiannopoulos is just the breath of fresh air the conservative movement so desperately needs.

Yesterday, when CPAC confirmed that Milo would be delivering the keynote address at next weekend’s conference, it didn’t take long for purists within the dried-up conservative movement to crap all over the news.

The writers at Erick Erickson’s site are apoplectic over it.

Of course, this is the same website that absolutely knew Trump would be defeated by Hillary Clinton, so what do you expect?

Writer Steve Berman penned a column titled “Goodbye CPAC. You’re now dead to me.” It’s amazing he was able to type this column at all while tightly clutching his pearls.

[And, no. I’m not linking to his column. Why should I give that site any additional hits?]

His fellow Resurgent writer Josh Hammer tweeted out this:

This is an utter disgrace for CPAC and the @ACUConservative that runs it. Abhorrent and shameful. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/320244-right-wing-provocateur-milo-yiannopoulos-to-deliver-cpac

Why? Why is this an “utter disgrace?”

What is with this rabid hatred of Milo Yiannopoulos?

  1. For years homosexuals hid in a closet. Now they are out of the closet. But, but, conservative homosexuals are now treated with the same kind of bigotry by fellow “liberal” homosexuals, that they fought for years to overcome.
What a fucked up world we live in. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

  2. Some people are, in an abstract way, prone to logic and reason regardless of who they are in their emotional feeling and behavior. This is where the abstraction comes into play. One would gather by appearance or rhetoric to safely assume that a person is either a liberal, a moderate, or a conservative. But that is not the case. Sexual orientation, religious belief, occupation, education level, and a host of other factors may or may not contribute to one’s position on or view of political matters, issues of debate, etc. This is known as individuality. I’m am a distinct individual with my own ideas and opinions, regardless of who or what has taught me or influenced me. And the contradictions abound. We are all gray to a point, no definite contrast to black and white, good and evil, and so forth. Milo is not an abstruse character as one might think. Actually, he’s quite typical.

  3. He manages to announce over and over, he likes to suck black dick. He is hateful toward people in the audience that challenge him. His language is vile. I’ve only seen a couple of his speeches and an interview. He is clownish and vulgar. We have the Log Cabin Republicans who are gay. I should think there is a homosexual Republican somewhere who can speak about being conservative and support Trump and attract young people without vile language and constant reminders that he likes to suck black dick. So the kids find him fun and interesting, that’s great, so is a clown at a kids birthday party. I find his shtick hateful toward people who challenge him. He cuts people down with petty insults and vile language. I am interested in seeing his CPAC behavior, I might be surprised.

  4. Zonga,
I guess someone on our side thinks he’s of some value. Maybe he his. I know I’d show up if he was local to bust some Antifa ass. But I totally agree he doesn’t represent my values. Or yours.

  5. Sometimes I wonder if Breitbart isn’t putting all of its eggs into one basket. Seems like this openly homosexual conservative is somehow the champion for Conservatism. I personally don’t get it.

  6. I listened to him talking in the little window in the upper right of the video window. One of the things he said is the at ‘if it wasn’t for Father So-and-so he wouldn’t be able to give such good head’ Later on he is advocating for relationships between boys, probably boys past puberty, and men.

Did you listen to Milo on the video Bad_Brad?

  7. You need to listen to what Milo is saying in that video.

I think he is going to be a disaster and people will walk out on his speech at C-Pac, and other speakers will refuse to share the stage with him, and he will destroy the event, reflect badly on the President and conservatives will scorn him.

  8. He is not my type, don’t care much for him. It’s great that he can discuss conservative thoughts and ideas but does it have to have a pink boa wrapped around it? I’ve been around plenty of gays (a brother, friends, not friends) so I am comfortable knowing I’m not homophobic, but I don’t think I like his routine.

  9. You cannot hold a believe in the Constitution without God based values, upon which the Bill of Rights is completely based. Those are not rights granted by the government rather; rights granted by God, per the intention of the founders.

I can listen to what he/she has to say, but I do not have to accept or condone the lifestyle.

  10. If you people have not listened to the video posted by RCoward up thread you are making a big mistake. Milo is talking about post puberty boys having relationships with men and that Father so and so taught him how to give good “head”.

  11. OK Zonga I listened to RCowards link. So first of all you need to understand there’s few people that post here that I respect more than you. We are simpatico. I’m also in 100% agreement with what BigGun just posted above. But that twitter feed in my mind is suspect. If that can be verified as him talking Breitbart has some explaining to do. So does Cpac. If these people know this is him talking, and continue to market him as the ultimate gay conservative we have some real problems. What next?

  12. Not only do I not like his routine but that video really shows how despicable a gay lifestyle, that he is trying to justify, really is. He is not a spokesman for the conservatism that I choose to live.

  13. Ok, I’m not outing myself, but I do know Milo personally, a bit. He’s gay, very, very gay and he has said he learned to give good head from some priest, I don’t remember the rest of that, but I also won’t say it isn’t possible. Milo is not:

    1) a white supremacist. He’s a race mixing Jew, by definition he cannot be.

    2) he’s not a conservative or what most of you all consider conservative. He calls himself a classical liberal. His….ummm, lifestyle, outside of the gay black men he sleeps with, is…ummm, sometimes sketchy. Let’s leave it there.
    3) Milo is NOT Alt Right, he doesn’t conform to the standards, he is not wanted, as well.
However, I am a little confused as to why posters here seem so anti Alt Right, tbh.
    4) Milo says he still practices the Catholic faith. I’ll leave that to others to judge as they will.
    5) Milo considers himself a “pop star,” his words. He’s an engaging, funny guy that liberals hate, but he’s not someone to follow/look to for leadership or even a crutch.

That may seem as if I dislike Milo, I don’t, I was only trying to be brutally honest under a pseudonym. Take it as you will.

  14. I don’t think we are necessarily compromising conservative values by accepting gays as participants in a conservative and lawful lifestyle. However, I don’t think that a flamboyant gay lifestyle is compatible with genuine conservatism. Mature gay males that attempt to justify preying on adolescents and saying they are creating a sense of inclusiveness by doing so should be castrated, like all rapists. When I was in 7th grade I was molested by a teacher, I was horrified and it took me 40 years to tell anyone it happened. I know my dad would have killed the bastard if I would have said something at the time. Chances are if I thought the fucker was still alive I’d pay him a visit myself. I can be tolerant of them in the sense that they have a right to a lawful life, but I don’t like them, and I don’t need them speaking for me.

  15. unbelievable as in I believe it is Milo, what he is saying is sofa king wrong, it is unbelievable he is going to speak at CPac. The video was just posted yesterday.

Is it really true he is supposed to speak at CPAc? This video is going to destroy every conservative thing he touches.

  16. I agree Bad_Brad. Somebody has to get through to CPac on this right away. He says a 14 year old boy can give consent for sex with a man. He says he has witnessed sex between men and very young boys at a Hollywood party where young boys are being molested by men. He is passive about protecting children.

what to do, does anybody know anybody? email the White House, your congress critter, your senators, who would take a link from someone like me?

  17. MJA Please tack this thread at the top of the page so everybody can see the real Milo. He is a pedophile. He has witnessed men molesting young boys and he was passive, he never protected those children.

    WAKE UP PEOPLE

  18. https://youtu.be/FAg3kLNrcn8 LOOK at this, Bad_Brad posted it, it is horrible, disgusting, against the law. Milo must be stopped, he should be arrested.

He must be stopped now, he is a fake, he is a criminal, he is looked to as the gay conservative prancing around the GOP who is going to bring in young people.

  19. Simply put, I’m for anyone that realizes a person was elected that could actually return us to the values that made our country unique and a cut above all others. No matter your creed, race, or religion, you can get a job and STFU. You’ll be fine.

Part of the problem lately has been the rise of Hedonism, which signals the downfall of any great society. This needs to be forcefully supressed, no matter the creed.

It’s like supporters need to be vetted as well. Sad…

  20. I cannot look at facebook, not a member.

You and Milo can make all the excuses and back peddle all you want. This is not “the world against” Milo. This is a man who talked about SEEING young boys being molested and did nothing. So, if he says he was just kidding that makes it alright? Since when do we think jokes about abusing children are acceptable? The man who has been invited to speak at CPAC says he was taught to give good head by his priest. that’s a funny joke? He says boys age 13 or 14 can jive consent to have sex with men. Did you even listen, look at all the tapes?

Milo is sick in the head. He has SEEN children being sexually molested, he says this.

“Well-timed “explosive video” always needs to be questioned…”

Dianny, Really? Honestly? What could he possibly say to walk his support of pedophilia back? How can he possibly minimize his statement about watching young boys being sexually molested by men and doing nothing?

Have you looked at all of the video links?

There is no defense for what he said on those videos, none.

  21. I’m not a fan of Milo’s monorail lifestyle, as long as it doesn’t hurt anybody, set any fires, destroy another’s property, spray teargas in an innocents eyes, physically attack anybody because of their political fashion statement, set anybody’s hair on fire, link arms on a freeway, chain themselves to the doors of a higher learning institution, deny a person their livelihood because of their religious beliefs, blow anybody up in the name of a flying spaghetti monster, cut someones head off because they don’t want to pray to the monster, etc.
He’s OK by me, besides, he is funny, I don’t care what the homos say.
How did I do Mr. Fink?

  22. First, other than Progressive True Believers, I’ve never seen anyone accuse Milo of being a conservative. He is a (professional?) enemy of progressivism. So I can see why that accusation would be wheeled back out. The “racist” machine isn’t working too well, anymore. And the “homophobe” machine won’t work against this target. What else is there?

Second, if you are speaking to an audience, it is always best to use language they are comfortable with. Colonel Mustard would never drop an F-bomb. And no twenty-first century college student would voluntarily sit through one of his speeches.

Third, if you’d rather sacrifice yourself, and everyone around you, on the communist altars, “to avoid the messiness of a fight” (to quote Stuart Smalley), “That’s… OK.” But the No True Conservative defenders of progressivism’s enemies aren’t, then, taking heads the “wrong way,” before conservatives can take them the “right way.” They, the No True Conservatives, are actually taking heads. Maybe that’s not OK?

  23. Dianny, I did go back and found out I can look at what he has posted. Doesn’t change my mind.

His statements were taken out of context? Selectively edited. Cute, when caught talking about doing illegal disgusting things, being out of context works every time. Planned Parenthood out of context, you believe them don’t you?

He carefully stated he was not talking about prepubescent boys, he did not deny saying he supported, said it was OK for boys age 13 – 14 giving consent for sex with men.

The man doesn’t belong within a mile of Conservative -PAC. He is not the victim here. He is not a conservative.

You gushed about how much you support Milo. His facebook excuses have been duly noted. Now can you defend and support him in your own words?

  24. Get over it people. Whether you like it or not the political wave of the future is libertarianism which will co-opt the younger generations. Milo is a weapon against the socialist/fascist ideology of political correctness that hinders this natural advancement.

  25. Here is Milo’s side of it, in his own words, uncensored and you don’t even have to go to Facebook:

    “A note for idiots (UPDATED):
I do not support pedophilia. Period. It is a vile and disgusting crime, perhaps the very worst. There are selectively edited videos doing the rounds, as part of a co-ordinated effort to discredit me from establishment Republicans, that suggest I am soft on the subject.
If it somehow comes across (through my own sloppy phrasing or through deceptive editing) that I meant any of the ugly things alleged, let me set the record straight: I am completely disgusted by the abuse of children.
    Some facts to consider:
    1. I have outed THREE pedophiles in my career as a journalist. That’s three more than any of my critics and a peculiar strategy for a supposed pedophile apologist.
    (a) Luke Bozier, former business partner of Louise Mensch
    http://kernelmag.dailydot.com/…/menshn-co-founder-embroile…/
    http://kernelmag.dailydot.com/…/…/3746/luke-bozier-arrested/
    (b) Nicholas Nyberg, anti-GamerGate activist who self-described as a pedophile and white nationalist
    http://www.breitbart.com/…/leading-gamergate-critic-sarah-…/
    (c) Chris Leydon, a London photographer who has a rape trial starting March 13 thanks to my reporting.
    http://www.breitbart.com/…/tech-city-darling-chris-leydon-…/
    2. I have repeatedly expressed disgust at pedophiles in my journalism.
    http://www.breitbart.com/…/heres-why-the-progressive-left-…/
    3. I have never defended and would never defend child abusers, as my reporting history shows. The world is messy and complicated, and I recognize it as such, as this furore demonstrates. But that is a red line for any decent person.
    4. The videos do not show what people say they show. I *did* joke about giving better head as a result of clerical sexual abuse committed against me when I was a teen. If I choose to deal in an edgy way on an internet livestream with a crime I was the victim of that’s my prerogative. It’s no different to gallows humor from AIDS sufferers.
    5. National Review, whose journalists are tweeting about this, published an article defending Salon for giving a pedophile a platform.
    6. I did say that there are relationships between younger men and older men that can help a young gay man escape from a lack of support or understanding at home. That’s perfectly true and every gay man knows it. But I was not talking about anything illegal and I was not referring to pre-pubescent boys.
    7. I said in the same “Drunken Peasants” podcast from which the footage is taken that I agree with the current age of consent.
    8. I shouldn’t have used the word “boy” when I talked about those relationships between older men and younger gay men. (I was talking about my own relationship when I was 17 with a man who was 29. The age of consent in the UK is 16.) That was a mistake. Gay men often use the word “boy” when they refer to consenting adults. I understand that heterosexual people might not know that, so it was a sloppy choice of words that I regret.
    9. This rush to judgment from establishment conservatives who hate Trump as much as they hate me, before I have had any chance to provide context or a response, is one of the big reasons gays vote Democrat.
    10. In case there is any lingering doubt, here’s me, in the same interview the other footage is taken from, affirming that the current legal age of consent is about right: “And I think the law is probably about right. It’s probably roughly the right age. I think it’s probably about ok. But there are certainly people who are capable of giving consent at a younger age. I certainly consider myself to be one of them, people who were sexually active younger. I think it particularly happens in the gay world, by the way.”

  26. If you swallow all this I feel sorry for you.

Did he deny saying post-pubescent 13, 14 year old boys can give consent for sex with men?

Now he says he actually said he supports age of consent laws. Where do we go to see the “uncut taken out of content videos?

He would not name the pedophiles he witnessed abusing young boys in the interview, if he has brought three of them to justice why didn’t he name them?

Milo is not conservative. He is going to speak at C-PAC, you are OK with that? Is he just a conservative with a flamboyant life style?

Up thread I did post that I figured out how to see his facebook defense.

So are you OK with his facebook defense? Have you looked at all of the videos posted on this thread?

  27. Milo has a twisted sense of humor, but speaking as someone who has listened to his podcasts for quite some time now, I can guarantee you that he doesn’t advocate nor support the rape and abuse of young boys. In fact, I believe that Zonga might be confusing Milo’s own PERSONAL refusal to call what happened to himself as rape/pedophilia as what he believes for everyone. Milo was raped when he was 15 (I believe) but he refuses to call it that. As hedonistic as homosexuality is, Milo does not deserve to be slandered. God will judge him, not us. Milo does not condone what he’s being accused of, end of story.
