According to CNN Politics:
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been targeting so-called “sanctuary cities” with increased enforcement operations in an effort to pressure those jurisdictions to cooperate with federal immigration agents, a senior US immigration official with direct knowledge of ongoing ICE actions told CNN…
…ICE has denied that any enforcement operations are meant as retribution against sanctuary jurisdictions, and reiterates that the raids are a continuation of the agency’s normal actions aimed at keeping the public safe. MORE HERE
If you are LAW ENFORCEMENT, you go where the CRIMINALS are. Pretty simple.
Arrest the local officials for obstruction!
Or…we could remove ALL federal law enforcement personnel from sanctuary cities. How about that?
If these Libs were truly concerned, truly serious, they would organize and send several of their group to the home countries of the deported. Stay there and organize a new government. I’ll pay for a couple plane tickets myself.
Enforcing the law, although not a new concept, does reduce crime and increases public safety. It’s about time our leaders fulfil the oaths of office.
I agree with Doc, states, counties, cities and towns who choose to harbor criminal fugitives are obstructing justice. The law must be equally administered.
Isn’t it mind-numbing how liberals feel like they have the right to ignore their least favorite laws but the rest of us have no right to enforce ALL written laws??
Aren’t citizens of a sanctuary city aiding and abetting criminals — or law-fleeing individuals — or harboring fugitives?
Does that make them complicit in a crime?
I’m all for funneling every illegal alien in the US
into those sanctuary cities, cutting off federal
funds to them, and let them eat SHIT.
The next time a liberal shouts about this, we should remove a useless gun control law and treat it as null and void. They should think twice about a lawless nation. We are in charge and LEOs and the military will follow all of the armed real Americans.
