“But, THIS time we will get right.” – Bernie
OpenTheDoor
Absolutely. Bernie and company, are way smarter than all those Russians, Chinese, Europeans and Latinos.
This “experiment” always turns out the same way. You would think that everyone would have figured it out by now.
Bernie already has his 3 mansions and millions in the bank. Trust him, he’ll tell you how to live in a 10×25 room complete with a sink and a fold out futon to sleep on. All while providing the state with whatever they need to live in the laps of luxury.
But taking away from “rich” people and giving it to everyone else has such appeal to the vast lazy class.
Who benefits from Bernie Sander’s socialist proposals? Bernie Sanders. He’s a Senator who wants to be President, and is a position of power so that he can make the rules. Imagine – an individual who has failed at virtually everything he has tried, except runnning for pubic office, being in a position to dictate how competent people should act and promoting his own self interests at the same time.
Socialism is big government, and eventually big government will be controlled by ruthless, egocentric, incompetent and/or self-aggrandizing people. People who want power and wealth will gravitate to where they can obtain power and wealth, and in big government nations this is big government where they can use force and the power of government to fulfill their personal goals.
It worked in Venezuela. Now that place is a complete tyranny. But it is more efficient that way. Only needs one well aimed shot and the country can go back to reality.
Atlas Shrugged, now non-fiction.
Just shared this on My Boating Site …If You closed Your eyes…You’d think He was talking about obongo.
Power is its own reward.
The purpose of torture, is torture.
Imagine an iron-shod boot, stamping on a human face – for eternity.
(Orwell, paraphrased)
BS is just (one of) the latest who isn’t afraid to call himself what he is, without understanding what that means.
Hitler pulled no punches, either – he claimed to be a socialist – and proved himself to be one. Same with Mussolini – he never claimed to be anything other than a socialist. Same with Stalin. Same with Lenin. Same with Mao.
The greatest mass-murderers in History have always, invariably, incontestably, inarguably, been socialists.
PERIOD.
And this (the actuality of History) is precisely why education has been so corrupted for so long.

Even sadder is to see that many of those who were arrested during Brazil’s clean-up operation are already being released. Lula da Silva and Dilma Roussef were never arrested and they continue having huge influence in the country. Lula da Silva is a populist and he knows how to use his charisma. Many believe that he may be elected as president next year.
