Nearly 4.5 million voters in this state cast their ballots for Donald Trump in the November election. More than 47 other states and just a fraction fewer than Texas and Florida.
Unfortunately for these Californians, their vote total was dwarfed by the 8.75 million that went for Hillary Clinton from the Golden State, as her 61 percent vote share constituted the biggest landslide since FDR carried the state in 1936.
So if you’re a Trump supporter in California, for the most part you try to keep your political affiliation incognito. That means no bumper stickers on your car. No lawn signs on your property. No post-election parties. You keep your gloating and hopefulness behind closed doors.
It’s that way because doing anything otherwise could be downright physically unsafe and socially damaging. Never mind the outright violence that greeted Milo in Berkeley, even a small gathering of Trump supporters in Huntington Beach (in Orange Country, the last GOP stronghold in coastal California) was marred by unruly, and possibly criminal, agitators.
The social and professional cost could be profound for some Trump supporters. In a Los Angeles Times profile, Ed and Maggie Ring spoke about a nearly 20-year friendship that abruptly ended after the couple’s support for Trump became known.
“ ‘I don’t want you around my children,’ ” Ed Ring recalled his former friends’ message via Facebook ending their relationship as he recounted to the Times. “That really hurt.”
Honestly, however, the Rings’ story is a dime a dozen across a state that’s effectively under one-party rule, with the Democrats owning super majorities in both state legislatures and every state-wide office. In November, two Democrats – Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez – faced off for the U.S. senate seat vacated by Barbara Boxer as no Republican made it through the primaries that go to the top two vote-getters regardless of party affiliation.

It will all come crashing down. Cali can’t maintain its level of self destruction, and remain viable. Their economy is so big that it will take a time to fail. But I fear that when it reaches that ultimate breaking point, the end will come swiftly and violently. The tricky part, will be keeping the liberal lunacy from spreading throughout the nation, like poison from a burst appendix.
I strongly relate to how the Californians feel. Chicago / cook county went 65% for Clinton. Conversations stop when I walk into a room of people who I thought were friends. I NEVER bring up politics with them but often have to endure their mindless hatred of president Trump. It’s going to be a long 4 (8?) years.
And yet many of these lefties cannot articulate why they hate Trump, or why the loved Hillary Clinton, or why their policies are workable. I believe that leftist destruction of Califonria is almost inevitable, and the fight will be to prevent this lunacy from infecting other states.
Northern California, in particular the Great State of Jefferson voted overwhelmingly for Trump. Inland counties in Southern California voted Trump. The majority of geographical California voted for Trump. I’ve read that if we could have eliminated the L.A. county vote California would have gone Trump. In case you’re wonder attached is a map of the counties that would comprise Jefferson. It is substantial.

And this morning I see the Trump administration gave Calif more than $500 Billion dollars for disaster relief mostly for the Oroville dam. A dam that failed due to their own incompetence and frittering money away on useless social engineering bullcrap. The press refuses to hold anyone responsible for this eff up.

And the feds give them $500 billion? I am livid. I am outraged. This was the opportunity to make cakifonia change its’ tune and they blew!
I live in California, I guarantee no one will screw with your lawn sign or bumper sticker in the red counties. We hate Sacramento want to secede from the state.
This article fails to subtract the votes of the illegal aliens. Without the illegal vote we would have representation in this state and the vote would have been quite close. For those of you foolish enough to wish California falls into the ocean you would have lost the votes Trump needed to win. If California did fall into the ocean the illegals would get to your state faster!
Also, if you haven’t noticed illegals are a problem all over this country. Someone from Nebraska was on a blog the other day begging Conservatives to move to his state because illegals are taking over. New York, Illinois, Michigan, and other states are way too socialist for us to just pick out single states to destroy. As a Conservative I refuse to do what the Republicans in Congress and the Senate do and give up. I will fight to the death for My country and each state in it. I want California back to it’s Conservative roots! After all, this was the state of Ronald Reagan.
I’ve been to California twice – both times were in 2016 for long weekends. Visiting my fiancee’s friends (“moderate” Democrats) for a party, I was shocked speechless when the host told me that Florida got ruined “by all the New York Jews” moving there. When she said it a second time an hour later, I let her have it with my patented Holocaust joke that induces maximum shame & cringeing.
Me: “you know, I wish you hadn’t said that. My Great Uncle died in Auschwitz.”
Democrat Bint: “(stammer) umm, uhhh, what I meant was….”
Me: “No, I know what you meant. By the way, do you want to know how he died?”
Democrat Bint: ” yes”
Me: “He broke his neck when he got drunk and fell out of the guard tower!”

Me: “yeah, but the fact remains that the Jews are God’s chosen people and the rest of us have to find our way to Heaven through embracing His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ as our personal saviour”
