We are all supposed to refer to a queer in the way they want to be addressed- no, ifs, ands, or buts, no matter how ridiculously avant garde. If we do not comply there will be serious consequences. In New York there are monetary fines.

I watched a couple episodes of Luke Cage, couldn’t get into it all that much and stopped watching it. At no point did I ever think Trayvon as a bullet proof person in a hoodie played by Luke Cage. This is news to me as of today.
The lack of respect from the left comes from the misconception that he was a liberal playing a Trayvon character. Once he displays an ounce of

I’m a proud Marvel Zombie, yet this was not a conservative series by any measure. There were flashes of brilliance, yet they were squandered in the end.
As early as ep 2, Cage is held up outside a club named after Crispus Attucks and he berates the thug for calling him negro while educating him about history. As encouraged that had me, by ep 12 Meth-head Man is rapping about a bulletproof Trayvon.
Look, the series stars Rosario Dawson and airs on the network that brought us “Dear White People.” Need I say more?

I was a comic book collector from 12 to 30 years old and sold my collection when my son was born. The collection included Xmen, Conan the Barbarian and worth a pretty penny now, but you have to make sacrfices when you have kids.
Anyway, Luke Cage was part of my collection and one of my favorites. The comic book and the network series have just enough morality and responsible citizenship values intact to irritate the left.
