1. Today I spent some time online learning more about the NAZI’s and their ties to the Croat muslims in WWII, and what the genesis was of the ties between the Teutons and the people of the Crescent. It was reportedly Himmler who admired the savagery of their fighting and the Germans undertook quite a fanciful story in order to make them “pure Aryans” and thus qualifying them to wear the uniform. And it was a uniform article that I’ve been researching. I have a rather rare “walking out” (red) fez worn by the muslim Axis fighters, the 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian). According to what I can find out, they were all volunteers and were never a formal part of the Wehrmacht.
