Not everyone finds the declaration of transgender tendencies “brave” or “courageous.” Case in point a high school in Idaho that tried to have a little fun with spirit week by having the boys wear blue and the girls wear pink. Of course this created a problem for the few self declared transgenders within the student body. They could have worn blue or pink or chosen not to participate; they instead all wore purple and received an unexpected backlash from their fellow students.
I’ll bet that this will be the last “spirit week” at this high school.
Sounds hoaxish to me.
Helicopter moms, disinterested dads. Here’s what you get: spoiled, egomaniacs who cannot get through a day or a conversation without it being all about them.
From the linked website: “MORE: Most children who identify as transgender are faking it, says psychiatrist”
They fake it because it gives them notoriety and celebrity/attention. They haven’t felt this fussed over since they were first brought home from the hospital.
“‘What I saw was just repulsive, and it made me feel ill,’ Ryan said. He started having a panic attack.
He said he didn’t want to go to the boys’ side because he thought he’d be kicked out, but he’s not a girl. Other students felt the same way, he said. There was no place for them.”
The National Socialists offered camps for them. Bad Nazis! Bad.
If you don’t know if you’re a boy or a girl and you don’t want to make a tragic mistake by picking blue clothes or pink clothes, just go to school naked and let everybody else figure out your sex for themselves.
If gender is a social construct why do transgenders need to change their appearance? Isn’t that just reinforcing gender stereotypes?
Hmm?
HAL, you’re thinking too much. Stop it.
“The district adopted a “gender identity and sexual orientation policy” in 2015 which includes a section about dress codes: Dress must be gender neutral[.]”
This seems to say that a dress or skirt would be inappropriate by these standards because it shows the person wearing it is female; essentially, then, school officials are telling girls they can’t wear skirts or dresses in this bullshit crusade to be “neutral.” How is dictating what people wear–beyond ensuring it isn’t vulgar, too revealing, etc., you know, the normal dress code at schools and work places–how is dictating this actually being “neutral” or in any way (oh how I hate this word====>) “fair”?
And wouldn’t wearing pink or blue in itself fault to live up to that standard?
Screw the week nonsense. How about a get back into the closet where you belong permanently movement.
Another reason I want tax credits for kids in
private schools.
