Zbigniew Brzezinski, Carter’s national security adviser, dead at 89

FOX: Zbigniew Brzezinski, who helped topple economic barriers between the Soviet Union, China and the West as President Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser, died Friday. He was 89.

His death was announced on social media Friday night by his daughter, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski. She called him “the most inspiring, loving and devoted father any girl could ever have.”

Earnest and ambitious, Brzezinski helped Carter bridge wide gaps between the rigid Egyptian and Israeli leaders, Anwar Sadat and Menachem Begin, leading to the Camp David accords in September 1978.  more

  1. Brzezinski helped Carter bridge wide gaps between the rigid Egyptian and Israeli leaders

And we’re still paying ($5B/year) for it 40 years later. Just like Iran.

  2. Betrayed our ally the West-leaning secular Shah and installed Ayatollah Khomenei.

Gave away the Suez Canal, American property the US bought, built and paid for.
A crucial strategic and economic asset squandered for nothing in return.

Strengthened the Chicoms and Soviets in every theater while weakening the US positions.

Almost as if he were not just a pro-communist Globalist, but an active KGB asset.

  4. Everyone needs prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

  5. We don’t know if he accepted Christ before he died or not.

Maybe he’s in heaven and maybe he’s in hell.

There’s no use praying for him now.

  6. An excerpt from his 1983 book, “Power and Principle”:

“I have never believed in flattery or lying as a way of making it,” he told The Washington Post that year. “I have made it on my own terms.”

Anyone who feels it necessary to point out how honest & humble they are, is proof they’re neither.
