  5. I used to love going up to Calgary when my sister in law lived there back in the 80’s. Now, I’d be afraid I’d get arrested if I thought the wrong thoughts while up there now. Too bad, since the Canadian Rockies especially around Banff in BC are drop dead gorgeous. I’ll stick to Glacier Natl. Park up around Columbia Falls, Mt., it’s just as beautiful and I won’t get arrested for thinking the wrong thoughts.

He’s the leftist Prime Minister that managed to change the course of this country back in the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s from a small l liberal country to a big L liberal. He’s the father of the current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau (although there is some question as to whether the real dad was Castro) who has the same political leanings but only half his fathers brains. I guess that comes from his prior career as a bar bouncer.

  12. I haven’t been to Canada since 2000. With these lovely developments I don’t plan to ever go back. I remember in the 80’s when it was Communist countries that you had to be afraid of the Stasi or the KGB arresting you for thought crimes.

    Of course, in all fairness, Canada (and the US) is trying to go Communist. They just don’t realize what they’ll get when they achieve it.

    I am always amazed when my liberal friend’s deliberately won’t see this desire for One World Govt™ as another attempt at all the bad things Socialism and Communism have committed.

    The last one literally said: “Oh. It’s going to happen any way. Why fight it?”

    She’s not a dummy IQ-wise. She’s an R.N.. But she doesn’t contemplate at all that a One World Govt™ would be more of what we were fighting in WWII.

    It’s so incomprehensibly massive and interconnected that most people have nothing in their (our) normal lives to compare it to, so they just don’t want to think about it. But they rarely deny the evidence of it, I’ve found.
