As Finlay’s story goes, she and her husband sought back in 2015 to adopt a female dog – female because they had experience with a female dog before and wanted to play it safe.
Of the dog Finlay ultimately chose, she writes, “she had delicate features – very feminine-looking.”
Over time, however, Finlay and her husband began to notice something odd about the dog, Molly; there was “a tiny appendage between her back legs.”
“We took Molly to the vet to get it looked at,” writes Finlay. “When the vet came back and said she thought Molly could be a hermaphrodite, I didn’t realise what she meant; I started crying, assuming she was referring to another form of cancer. But she said: ‘No, it means Molly has male and female genitalia.’”

Not trying to be funny. who’s the vet that approved this surgery. They need a bullet in the face too. I respect dogs way more than people.
I’m reminded of George Carlin’s wise words, “remember, when you think about how stupid the average person is, that half the people are stupider”.
