Former Obama White House National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes is now an emerging as a person of interest in the House Intelligence Committee’s unmasking investigation, according to a letter sent Tuesday by the committee to the National Security Agency (NSA). This adds Rhodes to the growing list of top Obama government officials who may have improperly unmasked Americans in communications intercepted overseas by the NSA, Circa has confirmed.

The House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, sent the letter to the National Security Agency requesting the number of unmaskings made by Rhodes from Jan. 1, 2016 to Jan. 20, 2017, according to congressional sources who spoke with Circa. Rhodes, who worked closely with former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and was a former deputy national security adviser for strategic communications for President Obama, became a focus of the committee during its review of classified information to assess whether laws were broken regarding NSA intercepted communications of President Trump, members of his administration and other Americans before and after the election, according to congressional officials. The committee is requesting that the NSA deliver the information on Rhodes by August, 21.

  4. I just read the commentary on this at CTH and I’m having a hard time keeping up. One of the big questions not being asked is where is Circa (Sara Carter) getting this info — who is giving it to her? There seems to be some concern about who/what Circa is and who they are really serving.

    I am fighting very hard — and have been for the past couple days — to avoid going on a hard-core “profanity-laced” tirade. Me and Lou Dobbs are about to blow a gasket.

    Can’t really add anything to what everyone here already wonders. I think the only reason Congress exists is to foil every good thing the People want and to sit on oversight committees that waste billions of dollars every year; never asking the most pertinent questions and quizzing people who can’t answer, anyway, because everything is an “ongoing investigation.”

    They’re all laughing at us and they’re stealing my joy. I hope they all get an infestation of body lice or a pernicious, non-lethal disease after Trump takes away their health insurance carve-out.

Trump is the bell weather and the mood of the base. He’s tried, just as we have, to work with these goons and we’re six more months down this dead end road with them.     My comments stem from my knowledge of what I call the “Red Neck Militias”. I’ll include a large portion of the “III Percenters” in that comment. Eventually these poorly trained people will jump into the fray. Not sure I’m the guy to start the shit. Just being real. Most likely the individuals that eventually light this candle will be vets. Whom are solidly behind DJT. I guess to summarize, I think there’s a really good chance we end up in a shooting war on our streets.

  13. Okay, BB, you’re more right about this than I’d like to contemplate because we have almost no recourse at this point. We gave them the House, we gave them the Senate, we gave them the Executive and with that, the Court. There’s nothing left to give and we’re tired. We’ve given them six months. Seven years+ to either defund or get rid of an albatross very few people can afford to pay for and have anything left to call themselves middle class. There’s simply nothing left to give them and now we know they were never going to change anything. The betrayal is so crushing, so complete the only thing left is white hot anger and an ice cold resolve. Unfortunate for them, they have thoroughly underestimated the vengence, the reckoning that is coming; not because this is what we want, but because it is the only reasonable response — it was always a possibility. It will not be funny when they finally realize it.

  17. Plain Jane — Thanks for the reality check. God and prayer are my answer. Despair is an acknowledgement that God is not up to the task and we all know that’s not true. The devil never stops and I can see him collecting converts at times like this when it seems all is on a course of destruction.

    God gave us Trump and he gave Trump the resources to do His will. I firmly believe that.

  20. I’m hoping Christopher Wray has an impact. In some what of a defense of Sessions, he’s had no FBI to rely on. Hopefully that changes fast. Big picture the sooner DJT can appoint a few more conservative justices the better. That is the real win with Trump.

  24. I’m with you on that, too! Pence is a “good man.” He hasn’t done battle in any significant way that would give him the mark of the “T”. Either way it goes he can just shrug his shoulders and say: “I’m a Christian, a conservative and a (whatever else he always says), in that order.” He helped win an election, but can he help win back the country. We shall see.

    I just read something yesterday saying Kennedy could be gone at any time (soon).

  37. My Pillow had a demo special at Costco today. I stopped by their kiosk to pick up two new ones. I like them. There were four women, a Mexican couple and the demo guy at the kiosk. I had my Trump broach on. One of the women noticed it, commented very positively and all chimed in with positive Trump comments and how we should pray for him.

  45. It has been so OBVIOUS since DAY #1 that the White House … DNC … Hillary and maybe Obama have been involved in ELECTION MEDDLING …. (perhaps voter fraud) and Russian COLLUSION (real or not).

    That was the whole reason for suddenly pointing the finger at Trump Jr. … the/any investigation was getting to close to the ACTUAL TRUTH …. the DEMOCRAT MEDDLING in the ELECTIONS … with or without COLLUSION. There may or may not be Russian Collusion … only if there is/was it never (directly) involved Trump or his family. (They were innocent … victims of such attempts.) Not that the FAKE Media wanted to report the news correctly.

    The Trumps didn’t have anything to do with Natalia even being in the United States in the First place … much less being a ‘lawyer’ who couldn’t speak a lick of English …. and then suddenly in the 11th hour was offered the deal of a life time for her client … no charges … not guilty … pay a small fraction of a fine and all is good … courtesy of the Obama Administration’s DOJ. And, Natalia billed the US government for her New York hotel bills at $995/night. *Never mind she hob knobbed with Capital elites and congress members on the Magnitsky Law … never wavering she would be deported, found out, causing her country further sanctions or even arrested?!

    Like … Donald Trump and or Trump Jr. had anything to do with that. Yeah right! And, then left a sloppy trail of questionable emails to meet with said Russian Lawyer … now tied to the KGB. I mean … you know … HAMMER TIME?

    This blatantly had DNC … written ALL OVER IT …. the reason why some screamed at the top of their lungs I guess. Like Ferguson … maybe if they act out or over react people would see (believe) only their views … no matter how insane they sounded … no matter how much in the wrong they were.

    THIS IS NO SURPRISE AT ALL … it was only a matter of time … Disappointing it took that LONG for the dust to settle so that OTHERS could see the truth.

    Hillary has been Russia obsessed for a LONG time. Way before Trump won the election. Ever since her emails went ‘missing’. She blamed Russia. Then it was rumored she suspected someone one with ties to America. (Maybe she suspected Snowden or someone from inside the US working with… alleged Russian hackers.)

    WikiLeaks is pretty convinced that Seth Rich’s murder was not ‘random’. That being said should the investigation prove he was in fact the real White Rabbit? Or, just PRESUME he was. Can we get a better reason … more detail on the FBI member’s excuse that his weapons were ‘stolen’ within minutes of Seth’s death?

    Did the DNC and FAKE Media really believe uncovering some 10 minute meeting set up under FALSE pretenses that lead to …. well no where … was the GRAND Revelation to Russian Collusion orchestrated by the Trumps?

    It’s terrifying how easily brainwashed masses can become … with stupid stories, no evidence, half truths, lying by omission of more important information … such as coming out now etc.

    Dear DNC … Hillary Supporters etc stop blaming “Russia” for Hillary’s loss. Or don’t. You’re telling on yourselves. Yes, if any voter “cheating” was going to happen … it was abruptly HAULTED … when HACKERS spied on the election results. Is that why your candidate reacted the way she did … immediately upon losing (fair and square)? She didn’t come out to thank her voters … she complained that “Russia cost her the elections”! How? By watching results?

    Hmmmm …. is that how Democrats keep ‘winning’? Is that why Hillary didn’t campaign very hard? Or, Look around and see what improvements America needed? Didn’t recognize how devastating AHCA was on the paying customers?

    Of course the poor, disabled & congress all ‘agree’ on AHCA … they don’t pay for health care. Hillary fought for over 20+ years for this AHCA … and then it finally comes … only costing her the presidential election b/c it only benefited a FEW at the expense of putting MANY others at risk of having to give up their own health care … b/c TOO expensive. And, when that day comes ALL HELL will Break loose. It will be a total loss for everyone.

    Go back to the early 80’s a check ‘compliance’ with young healthy Americans always having health care coverage. It was HIGH. Because it was affordable … but, mostly because it was a BENEFIT offered and paid for by employers. On average what is the most that they can afford? START there ….

    NO ONE wants less coverage or yearly/life time caps … no matter the cost. At that point …. “INSURANCE” becomes a mute point. Hello? Why bother?

    The point (problem) is not enough is being done to reel in the cost so that EMPLOYERS can afford this cost … and pass this service on to employees at a free or relatively small (affordable) cost. Americans aren’t getting ‘sick’ 10-20 times more often… but, by our health insurance premiums one would think so.

    BTW … I’m not in favor of an immediate/overnight Replace and Repeal … but, am TOTALLY against congress ONCE AGAIN doing nothing for the American people … and continuing down this same path of charging more for health care than a mortgage payment (large mortgage payment for some) or as much as someone’s FULL SALARY if a FULL TIME minimum wage employee. That’s ludicrous that a full time employee can not afford their OWN health insurance premiums.

    And, why not? Less than 30-35 years ago … if charged anything at all for health insurance coverage … it equated to 1% of a minimum wage monthly salary. Today … that would be $13.00/month for employee contribution.

    [Okay … that ship has sailed … but, of course Hillary was going to lose.]

    Her only chance of winning would have been massive cheating. Investigate away.

    What the hell is she doing to support that premiums be lowered so that minimum wage workers can afford their own health insurance premiums offered by their employers? What is her stand on ALL employers offering health insurance? What is her stance on the next two generations being able to afford health care on their own?

    These congress members are in some deep denial. Do they not get that people are FIGHTING for their blood relatives; congress’s relatives, as well? Their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well? Are they going to be around to pay for ALL of their relatives insurance premiums? NO.

    If Russia needed to COLLUDE with any Political Party to win … it was Democrats who needed their help and support.

    And, Russia may or may not have meddled. Or, wanted to meddle. (But, that does not prove collusion with Trump or Trump Jr. …even with a 10 minute meeting.)

    And, no telling what amount of support Natalia may have received during her Magnitsky presentations on Capital Hill (Republican vs Democrats). But, I’m pretty sure The Donald did not give his permission … for her to be THERE in the first place. That was ALL on the Democrats.

  46. Congress regularly has approval ratings in the teens and single digits, yet incumbents return at rates in the nineties. Murkowski gets primaried and loses, yet still manages to hold on to office. The Deep State is, with a straight face, trying to nullify the election of a President they don’t like. Is there a credible argument that the people choose their government?

    If the US is to preserve government of the people, by the people, for the people, we’re gonna need more than the ballot box. That’s run its course and has been well and truly gamed into irrelevance.
