Flames were seen licking up the side of the 79 story residential skyscraper aptly named Torch Tower in Dubai. Residents were evacuated safely and the fire was put out by local firefighters. The same building caught fire two years ago. Some suspect its external cladding as the cause.
One would think that prices will start coming down in this building.

Sure are a lot of buildings catching on fire these days.
It’s almost like all those forest fires terrorists encouraged each other to start, are caused by terrorists.
Quick, someone call Steve McQueen in Irwin Allen’s (I hate Irwin Allen’s disaster movies, Loused in Space etc.) movie The Towering Inferno, he’ll know what to do.
Rename that thing now! “Big Chunk of Dry Ice” may work well.

OJ seemed to be in a lot of disaster movies and other crummy movies like Capricorn One. Although he was an effective foil in the Police Squad movies, he’s still just plain dumb, just ask Howard Cosell. Maybe that’s because he was a disaster just waiting to happen.

Don’t know what it’s built with but I hear one in Washington will be of wood. Set those cameras up now for the best fire shots.
Let’s hope whoever built the Dubai touch, builds more just like this one.
