Hannity: Senator Chuck Grassley ripped his republican colleagues during an agricultural event in Iowa over the weekend, slamming fellow lawmakers for their “embarrassing” inability to pass any major legislation since President Trump’s sweeping victory into the White House last November.
The Senator was speaking to agricultural business leaders during a summit on Saturday when he lashed-out at the GOP for its “poor track record” on advancing President Trump’s agenda, saying the only notable accomplishment was “rescinding” burdensome Obama regulations imposed on businesses.
And then there’s this:
Grassley On Russia Investigation: ‘This Is What Chuck Grassley Does’
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley is amping up the panel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, weighing whether to issue subpoenas for Donald Trump Jr. and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Bloomberg News first reported Monday.
Grassley’s committee is conducting its probe in addition to the Senate Intelligence Committee and special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations, which some– including Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn — have said they feel is inappropriate.
While the move has received some pushback, Grassley stands by his decision to push forward with the investigation alongside Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein, arguing it’s their duty to look into whether there was any sort of obstruction of justice.
“This is what Chuck Grassley does,” Grassley said in his interview with Bloomberg.
The Iowa Republican argued possible collusion is cause for bipartisan concern, adding the White House is aware it’s their job to look into the matter.
“They may be new to town, but they surely recognize what Chuck Grassley’s reputation is. And if they don’t know it, they’ve been told, I bet, a hundred times,” he continued in the interview. “I think I’ve got a pretty good reputation for being what I call an equal-opportunity overseer.”
Whatever.
Has Grassley forgotten he is part of the do-nothing rabble lead by McConnell and the middle of the road RINOs?
Where was his “equal opportunity over-seer” mentality under Obama and Hillary, Lynch, Comey, Rice, Clapper, et.al.????
You could hear crickets from Washington D.C. all the way to Iowa.
Equal opportunity my tires azz !
Tired, tired, tired.
Assley – Where are the bipartisan investigations into Clinton Collusion, crimes and misdemeanors? Looks like all you’re doing is throwing your colleagues under the bus to make you look good.
Sounds like Chuck is ready to slip on the old, comfortable shoes of a Senate minority man again. Life was simpler then.
Typical miserable, political whore!
Different audience, different talking points. S’all. We’re stupid, remember?
Never trust a person who refers to himself in the third person. PHenry doesn’t like that.
When on the public stage Sen. Grassley often sounds like the voice of reason, however his support of this witch hunt/investigation of DJT’s alleged collusion is very troubling. apparently he’s just another RINO who should have been out on term limits decades ago
phenry, line was stole/borrowed from bob dole
The same Republicans that are so worried about collusion (which is not even a crime) tolerated all the actual scandals that occurred during the Obama years without blinking an eye. Clinton’s actual pay-to-play, Fast/Furious, IRS Scandal… and now they have as much interest in DWS and the DNC Pakistani IT ring of fraudsters that compromised national security. Embarrassed? They should be too ashamed to show their sorry ass faces in public.
Gee, a two face politician, that’s rare!
The more we find out about these clowns the more we realize our lives are controlled by lowlife scum.
Grassley is also another major reason that you are required to put 10% ethanol in your gasoline.
As once said in an early Doonesbury cartoon, My Country ’tis of thee, sweet land of subsidy.
It’s all our fault.
We actually believed the Republicans would do what they promised and voted them in to office.
We should have known better than to trust politicians to keep their election promises.
Our bad.
In an interview, the head of the GOP recently admitted she’s been getting A LOT of “F YOU! GO TO H*LL! DROP DEAD GOP!” letters every day.
Let’s hope it starts to have an effect.

My baseball bat could never distinguish between Democrap and Republicant coconuts. It just likes to pound things to pablum.
…and while you’re at it (thanks, CoD!):
Chuck Grassley

Make your calls, please. Directly reference his stupid investigation and tell him we elected Trump, not him.
I just got through to a real person, not voicemail, at Grassley’s office in D.C.

Told her to pass on the message that we think his time is better spent looking into unresolved scandals on the D side and to support Trump’s agenda.
That’s all he is — embarrassed? WTF — We are way beyond embarrassed — how about disgusted, enraged, fed-up with treasonous, lying Decepticons…
Republicans are nothing more than home-grown taqiyya — saying one thing, but believing and doing something entirely different.
I am beyond being embarrassed. I am made as hell with the worthless, spinless Republicans. It’s bad enough having Godless democrats in office, supporting anything and everything that used to be America’s traditions, which mad us GREAT to begin with. A huge shake up must happen and apparently it is up to We The People.
Will — It’s always been up to We The People. “…deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Silence is consent.
Today a Las Vegas real estate broker by the name of Danny Tarkanian announced on Fox and Friends that he would be running against Heller. Reason? To help support the Trump agenda. I can’t help thinking this is a trend that will EXPLODE.
BB, that’s great! Do your homework, guys. I’ve heard there are some scammers out there saying they are pro Trump, too.

That idiot Jeff Flake will be next. Oh and don’t pay any attention to his damn polls
TO Bad Brad and AA
In a sense, next year is a no-brainer for ANY GOP hopeful, experience or not:
ALL s/he has to say is “I WILL SUPPORT AND VOTE FOR TRUMP’S AGENDA, INCLUDING BUILDING THE WALL AND REPEALING OBAMACARE.”
