Take Heart, People, the Statue of Lincoln Was Burned Years Ago

Sites are publishing a picture of a Lincoln statue in Chicago that was vandalized and burned.

An Alderman, Raymond Lopez, published it on Facebook and wanted to know if anyone had information leading to the vandal.

But WGN in Chicago is saying that the statue was vandalized “years ago.”

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Never mind, then.

By the way. Is this a contemporary photo of the vandalization? Because that sooty grass is taking a long time to wash away, as is the soot on the statue.

What’s worse?

A Lincoln statue vandalized yesterday, or one vandalized long ago which Chicago lets sit that way for years?

  1. The leftist scum will regret this. They are sadly mistaken if they think this country has essentially woken up over night and decided they hate America. The vast majority of the people, including the ones that have not been here for that long, are not going for it.

The idea that the same country that elected Obama and then elected Trump have decided they want to all of a sudden destroy destroy it and all of our history, and that they are on board with ripping down George Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and the rest of our history is an idea from planet Mars. They will pay the price for it…. Bigly.

  2. How Can they Even Track Scum in Chicago ? It Seems To Be Everywhere .
I’d Be Interested to Know The Race Of The Abe Smashers, Because It’s Beyond Bad Karma To Slice off the Arm Of the Man Who Helped you Up !!!

  3. Holy crap, it is worse than I thought. It literally just says “burned years ago”.

When WGN, what year, what month, what day? Are there any suspects? Fake news much?

  4. I want to win the Lottery big-time.
Every statue that gets defaced or destroyed, will be built 50% larger, more sturdy and with nasty surprises for idiots who try to pull them down

  5. @Plantsman: the statue is on the mid-south side of Chicago–does that help?

Love your idea, MJA–plus they could say Abe got his nose broken in a fight with Robert E Lee!
