European supermarket edits packaging to remove religious crosses

Milo:

European supermarket Lidl has decided to remove religious crosses from the photographs they use on packaging for certain items.

Lidl uses photographs of Greek landscapes for certain Greek-inspired products. One example would be the packaging of moussaka which uses a picture of Santorini Island.

The clear difference is the lack of crosses on the supermarkets packaging.

The incident became public by the network known as RTL, when a customer complained about the photoshop.  MORE
