POCs consider it food for white people, white people are inherently racist, whites who are relatives to slave owners like it, and previous slave owners liked it. It’s placed in a clear containers so there is no mistaking the whiteness that causes serious anxiety, like pouring salt on an open wound every walk down the store isle. Salt too, it’s too white and clearly a minority killer with high content in junk food.

12. Like everybody, I know the first stanza by heart. Just now, I read the rest of the lyrics over and over and I just don’t see any racist or “neo-confederate” there at all. Can somebody please point out those parts for me?

    Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote a fifth stanza in 1861, and it appeared in contemporary songbooks. I don’t see a problem with this, either.

    When our land is illumined with Liberty’s smile,

    The flag of her stars and the page of her story!
    By the millions unchained who our birthright have gained,
