Thanks for posting this. I watched a few of her videos on YouTube. In the one entitled No Wolf Can Blow My House Down she talks about having four kids and having to give them up for adoption when her husband went to jail. She couldn’t stay in her empty home so she hit the road. It’s a sad American story. It’s amazing that she isn’t on welfare.
Original musical spoons were just two regular metal spoons (or sometimes wooden spoons) and had to be held just right so they wouldn’t fly out of your hand. In the 60s they came out with commercially manufactured spoons which were permanently connected and were much easier to play. I still have my set made in the U.S.A. from the 1960s.
