The first one is obviously a painting, the bottom one is a picture.

There will be no living with Petey once he knows he’s famous. Honestly though, the painting blew me away when it arrived. You do great work Fur. I love my dog and I love this painting. Thank you so much.

Of all the portraits Fur has done, I’m positive his best work was Hannah. This is fantastic, don’t get me wrong, but Hannah is hands down the best one.

opportunity to make something that can last a few generations.
My dad used to talk about the dogs he had as a kid.
If I had a portrait of those dogs now, it would be amazing to me.
So, my hope is that somehow I’m filling that void and it will be appreciated.
Hannah has so many colors and different textures. It was a challenge, and I’m very, very happy with the result.
I just told the hub tonight how we need a good pic of Mr. Higgins to commission Mr. Fur. We are working on it! Petey is magnificent!

I can just feel his fur in the portrait. I’ve talked about the eyes and how you capture the soul of each critter so well. But the fur is another thing that jumps out. I look at the portrait you did of Zoe and I can look at it and remember the feel of her fur. It makes me smile, Fur.
