Thick Sea Ice Starves Thousands of Penguin Chicks

Scientists are reporting that this year’s breeding season for Adelie penguins in Eastern Antartica has been a “failure.”
Only two chicks out of 18,000 breeding couples managed to survive after thick sea ice forced parents to travel long distances to and from their feeding grounds. The penguin chicks starved waiting for their krill.

Experts managed to find a way to blame the heavy sea ice on global warming.

And to think, just two years ago scientists were declaring that global warming had allowed the same population of Adelie penguins to extend their breeding range and to increase their number “135-fold.”

  1. Global Warming is not to blame. The problem here is lazy penguin parents. They don’t care about their chicks, they were sold a bill of hoods on a shortcut that did not work out. Too far to swim!!

  2. Such a delicate balance with these people. Penguins aren’t having enough sex. The ice is too thick.

Just give them so viagra and infrared space heaters. Maybe some Barry White.

  3. NO! NATURE DECIDED THAT!

No no no nooooo liberal evolutionists! No you don’t! “Nature” decides winners and losers. It decides what DNA is passed on, and by how much and how many. That’s their whole “*Keleven” argument about the existence of the earth and universe. NOW, they want to blame humans for everything.

*”The Office” television show accountant named “Kevin” used a made up accounting symbol whenever he wasn’t able to figure out the math properly.
