DC: The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is having a tough time encouraging donors to contribute funds to the national organization as the party struggles to rebrand after its 2016 election loss.

“Donors, small and large, are so over the party,” Jane Kleeb, chair of the Nebraska party told Politico, commenting on the failure of DNC chairman Tom Perez to refocus the party.  more here

  1. I thought this was Obama’s party. The dough should be rolling in. Maybe it is rolling in…to his Library/Basketball/Recording Studio complex.

Looks like it’s up to Soros now..

  2. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, the electorate does not reward failure, incompetence, corruption, extreme leftist views, or deviancy. The electorate is tired of crappy screeching pols like Pelosi, Schummer, waters, Harris and the latest fruitcake Fredrica Wilson. If the dems are going to have a viable party they better dig up some of the old “Blue dogs”

  3. “Donors and top Democrats have expressed a lack of confidence that the Perez and deputy DNC chair Keith Ellison will be able to improve its track record of selecting good candidates and encouraging voter turnout.”

We know what that “lack of confidence” means. It means they’re a bunch of bigots and racists.

  4. They’re so 1 year ago. Pfft.
Plus Perez and that one white chick in the committee said they don’t want white people in or running the party anymore. So why should they donate if they’re not represented?

  5. The 2016 county election map says it all.

They’re reduced now to just the black inner city precincts, and low turnout even there.
    Plus Hollywood, and the Illegals.

One tough enforcer at the FEC can end ballot fraud in the Detroits and Baltimores.
Self-deportation can strip them of their Illegals. Which would bring California, NYC, Chicago and Miami back into the United States.
It’s just a question of will.

In the meantime, the Dems keep doubling down on crazy old women in sequined cowboy hats.
    Comedy gold.

  6. They have a bench filled with old has-beens. No 40-something conservative-talking Bill Clintons or Barack Obama up-and-comers.

A lot of sour old 80-somethings yelling for Republicans to get off their lawn.

  7. I haven’t given to the party or NRSC or NRCC in
years. Or PACs. I give to candidates. Candidates that I vet myself.

No middle man siphoning off their cut or funding their swamp.

These numbers about RNC vs DNC are meaningless in electoral terms.

  8. Also very cautious about individual candidates as I have limited resources. For instance, Roy Moore in AL will win handily even though he’s crying poor. No need to invest in that race.
Dollar for dollar, I get a better return on my campaign investments than George Soros and Tom Steyer.
Vet carefully and spend wisely and leave the establishment out of it.
