Matt Walsh Confused By the Left’s Vacillating Views on Age and Sex

I think Walsh strikes the right tone with this essay. To observe the left is to watch a slimy group of disingenuous opportunists, willing to engage and disengage the moral compass whenever it’s politically expedient.

Are we to share the left’s outrage when a woman tells her tale of a 30 year-old guy who felt a 14 year-old was “in play”? The operative word being “share.”

We can be outraged, but we are not the party that is teaching underage kids how to perform a good blowjob, or the proper use of a butt plug.

Some d-bag lefty in the Daily Wire comments tries to slap this puck of idiocy past the goalie-

Do you think high schoolers should be taught the facts and effects of underage drinking?

The folly of this Left-think was quickly brushed away-

proper sex education?.. Once again, in public education, “proper sex education” is showing children how to “properly” have sex. In the example of drugs and alcohol, we would not teach children how to “safely” consume alcohol and how to “safely” do drugs. In THOSE particular activities we tell them NOT TO DO IT. Regardless if they are going to or not… all over this country we are teaching children how to have sex 10 years in advance of a “legal” age for them to do so.

The left is not nearly as smart as they think they are.

Recently, a cheese-toothed leftist who was clearly out of his league, like the dope above, hit me with this after his argument disintegrated into the incinerator of logic-

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein people of low ability suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their cognitive ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority derives from the metacognitive inability of low-ability persons to recognize their own ineptitude.

Without the self-awareness of metacognition, low-ability people cannot objectively evaluate their actual competence or incompetence.[1]

This was meant to say I was suffering from this effect.

This is the exchange. It was about Colbert’s assertion that Halloween is a form of socialism.

  1. For me, the most obvious “disconnect” (being polite)
is between the Left’s “outrage!” about Moore/girls
and the Left’s promotion and enabling of islam in America…
…in particular, that hinky thang about
living life as closely as possible as Mo-boy did…
…which included marrying Aisha at 6 and “consummating”
(read: RAPING) when she was NINE YEARS OLD.

  2. Setting aside all other claims against Moore, I find it hilarious that the left is outraged that he would be at a mall trying to pick up high school girls when the age of consent in Alabama is 16.

Upon learning this, they will then mock Alabama and hum the Deliverance music, all the while teaching boys and girls in grammar school how to have anal sex.

It’s very difficult to follow their line of reasoning and thinking.

  3. Good point, Fur. But, the sex stuff (he kissed a couple of sixteen year olds…..after months of dating?) aside, this is evil politics. The Establishment needs to take out Moore. If they attempt that after an honest election, we should burn the Rayburn building.

And, if sweety Gloria Allred is involved in forgery, which seems likely, I hope she has a lovely prison experience. The whole thing just commonsense — duh! — stinks. Who the hell signs a year book in December? ….Lady in Red

  4. I was fuming at the media, again, as the morally bankrupt left was asking the right what they think morality is! WHAT? (i.e. is a 30 yr old man asking a 16 yr old for a date moral?). The party of hollywierdos is asking that! How absurd!

  5. When I went back to school I knew a young lady who was 18. She broke her arm. Before her arm was x-rayed, the technician asked her if there was a chance she could be pregnant. When she said, “Excuse me?” The technician said “I have to ask all girls over 9.”

  6. Lefties don’t have a moral compass – they have a moral wind sock. Inappropriate actions such as sex education for grade schoolers is o.k. if conservative folk are outraged, but allegedly dating 16 year old girls is condemned if the perpetrator is a Republican.

Liberals were upset when Anita Hill accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment, yet virtually nothing was said (and nothing was done) when Sen. Robert Packwood was accused of groping women at about the same time as the Thomas hearings. Packwood had a reputation as a women’s rights supporter, and one feminist famously offered to blow him if he continued to support women’s rights.

I can’t imagine anyone would give any credence to these types of people.

  7. Here’s the real moral outrage of congress:

Congress makes its own rules about the handling of sexual complaints against members and staff, passing laws exempting it from practices that apply to other employers.

The result is a culture in which some lawmakers suspect harassment is rampant. Yet victims are unlikely to come forward, according to attorneys who represent them.

Under a law in place since 1995, accusers may file lawsuits only if they first agree to go through months of counseling and mediation. A special congressional office is charged with trying to resolve the cases out of court.

When settlements do occur, members do not pay them from their own office funds, a requirement in other federal agencies. Instead, the confidential payments come out of a special U.S. Treasury fund.

Congressional employees have received small settlements, compared with the amounts some public figures pay out. Between 1997 and 2014, the U.S. Treasury has paid $15.2 million in 235 awards and settlements for Capitol Hill workplace violations, according to the congressional Office of Compliance. The statistics do not break down the exact nature of the violations.

  8. The Faux moral outrage of the left and colluding, complicit GOP, is always a cover. They intend only in tearing down every decent thing in America. Elitist don’t give one damn thing about morality; they only want to suppress the commoners and become more powerful, as they sow the seeds of contention.

I hope Alabama turns out in record numbers to vote FOR Judge Moore and AGAINST the degenerates of congressional power.

The bottom line; if Moore is elected and he is a moral degenerate, he joins the cesspool. However, if, as I suspect, the barrage of hate, opposition funding, (from the GOP, especially), and the joint efforts to smear Moore, doesn’t stop him, I suspect he will kick some swamp dwelling ass.

  9. What if the people of Alabama elect Judge Moore and McConnell and the RINOs refuse to seat him? LIR touched on the subject by suggesting the torching of the Rayburn Building. I think, maybe
“The Declaration of Independence” had some choice words for dealing with tyrants. Any thoughts?
