Breitbart: Never-Trump Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) threatened to quit the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) on Wednesday if the NRSC decides to back Judge Roy Moore.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) decided to back Roy Moore on Monday after president Donald Trump offered his endorsement of the Alabama Judge. Sasse started a Twitter tirade on Wednesday, pledging to quit the NRSC should they also back the Alabama Senate Republican candidate.
Sasse tweeted, “This is a bad decision and very sad day. I believe the women–and RNC previously did too. What’s changed? Or is the party just indifferent?”
Sasse then said, “A political party must be about more than expediency. To have any future, a party must have some fundamental convictions and commitments.”
“If the political committee that I’m a part of (the NRSC) decides to contribute here, I will no longer be a donor to or fund-raiser for it,” Sen. Sasse whined.

From reading his bio / resume’ it is clear to me that Sasse is a very politically connected, self-important social climber that has always been willing to sell his soul for “advancing” his career. He appears to be a professional ass kisser and “yes-man” that flits around from “position” to “position” staying just long enough to “check off a box” on his resume’.
His formal education is worthless claptrap although he attended Ivy League schools. He has a bachelor’s degree in “government”, master’s degrees in “liberal studies” (whatever the hell that is) and philosophy, and a phd in “history”. This just shows he’s a smarmy, overeducated idiot.
It appears to me that he is the Republican establishment version of Barack Obama being groomed by the RINO corruptocrats to head the party while falsely claiming to be a conservative. He’s just another empty suit with an unwarranted high opinion of himself.
He’s apparently been accused as a pedophile enabler himself (in fairly recent history based on the linked article), but he is perfectly comfortable spouting his sanctimonious BS about Roy Moore regarding dubious accusations from 40 years ago. If Ben wants to preen about how principled he is and how strong his “convictions” are to the world, he should resign from the senate immediately and go get a real job in the real world for once in his life.
