   Between Janis and Patsy Cline we lost two of the most awesome and unique women singers in American history way too soon.

4. I’m a big Patsy Cline fan, not so much Janis Joplin. And I Fall To Pieces can still make me cry if I’m in a melancholy mood.

   I saw Janis Joplin on Dick Cavet and she seemed shy and quiet but when she got on stage her whole personality changed.

7. I always liked Janis Joplin. Too bad they all died young – except for Tom Jones, he’s still around. Their music is still alive!

8. That’s an incredible amount of energy on stage right there. I saw Janis in Albuquerque in 1970. Too bad I was so stoned I don’t remember much of it.

   She was crazy but could she sing.

10. It looks like a scene from Dante’s Inferno.
    And they wonder why Hollywood was filled with gropers.
