I remember in the movie “Patton” that General Patton was reduced to making speeches at women’s clubs in England. He had a bulldog named “William The Conquerer ” But when a pussy little French Poodle barked at William, William ran away. Patton . pissed, said “Come on… Willy.” I don’t know if it’s true or not.
