Report: Trump Will Not Sign Off on Immigration Deal Unless Meadows and Cotton Approve

Breitbart: President Trump will not sign off on any deals related to immigration without the approval of pro-American immigration reformers Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR).

According to CNN reporter Dierdre Walsh, Meadows confirmed that Trump has entrusted himself and Cotton for their blessing of any immigration deals that are brokered between the president, Democrats, and the Republican establishment.

Meadows and Cotton’s strong influence on national immigration policy is a win for Trump’s base and the populist, economic nationalist wing of the Republican Party, as the Congressman and Senator have vowed to only support a deal on immigration that cuts legal immigration levels to benefit American workers and constructs a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

For example, both want to see the process known as “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S., ended, as does Trump. Ending chain migration, which has imported more than nine million foreign nationals since 2005, would likely reduce legal immigration from more than one million immigrants arriving in the country a year to about 500,000 admissions a year. read more

  1. Poor Chuckie. He’s losing control of his sandbox.

The reality is, Chuckie boy, there is a new sandbox and the stench of yours has been totally exposed. Throw your sissy fit, no one cares.

  2. Great news. Chain migration allows illegal immigrants to decide who else gets to come to this country. That right belongs to the citizens and their representatives – not the last group of immigrants. Legal or not

  3. It seems that Meadows and Cotton have got under Chuckies skin. Good, hope it itch’s him to death. Nah Chuckie, your not going to force this travesty down the throats of good sensible Americans, even with the shutdown/blackmail ploy. The shutdown action is going to cost you seats in November. And we’re all going to laugh.
DACA is not as important to Americans as Schumer and his lemmings seem to think it is.

    1) “Chain migration allows illegal immigrants to decide who else gets to come to this country.”

    2) “That right belongs to the citizens”

    3) “and their representatives”

    So much wrong. (SMH)

They’re only “illegal” until somebody makes them “legal”. That’s what happens when you agree to grovel before The Rule of Law. Whoever has a pen and the right letterhead, gets to change the “rules”. Not only without notice, but as often as they like. Back and forth. The “rules” apply to you, but not you, until somebody else with pen and letterhead, writes different. You want One Law to Rule Them All? That’s called terrorism, and The Rule of Law says you need to be killed. For now.

The United States makes foreigners citizens. For no more than a multi-million dollar “economic contribution” to The Chamber of Commerce, or enough years in poverty. That’s the Rule of Law. In case you’re wondering, no, that’s not how it works everywhere. There are nations where you can be born, live, work, and die of old age, all under the local Rule of Law, never commit a crime, and never, ever, even be considered for citizenship.

United States citizens have no “representatives”. That’s why Rule of Law boot wavers (those that present the boot for others to lick) keep reminding you that The United States is a republic. In the same way that Law Enforcement is under no legal obligation to enforce the law, the rulers of the republic are under no obligation to represent the will, or even the best interests, of the citizens they represent.

We may agree on the destination, or not. But there’s no way you’re getting to yours if you deny where you are, and what surrounds you.

  5. All the while illegals from around the world and drugs are pouring across our border. Trump should order Mattis to secure the border, at the border, and let no illegals or refugee scammers in until the wall is built and secured.
