But the FISA judges had already proven that the government lied to them more than threee times out of every four. For years. And they kept playing the game (hear the “My Cousin Vinny” voices):
“Are you lying to me now?”
“Are you sure you’re not lying to me now?”
“Well, alrighty then.”
How can it be a crime, when “the law” is subject to change without notice, and the judges have already approved of your lying to their faces, almost all of the time?
