American Mirror: Michigan Rep. Brenda Lawrence is baffled by Donald Trump’s reference to the infamous MS-13 gang, apparently unaware of the brutal death toll it’s taken on communities across the country.
The Democrat chided the president following his first State of the Union Address on Tuesday for his focus on “M-16,” and alleged he “spoke nothing about crime in America.”
“I talked to a dreamer today, came here when she was six months old, she’s a college student,” Lawrence told CSPAN2. “And you’re minimizing that.
“And then to be so focused on this M-16, or this illegal immigrant gang that he speaks of, spoke nothing about crime in America, about his commitment to America first,” she said. “What about fighting the crime that’s in our streets? It’s not by immigrants!”
The victims of violence at the hands of MS-13 members, including some Trump described during his speech, would undoubtedly disagree with the distinguished lawmaker from Southfield.
Trump told the story of 16-year-old Kayla Cuevas and her friend Nisa Mickens, 15, who were murdered next to an elementary school – bludgeoned with baseball bats and hacked with machetes – in Brentwood, Long Island. The alleged murderers pledge allegiance to MS-13.

Anyone who has watched the historic rise of violent drug cartels in Mexico knows that it leads to nothing but death and complete government corruption. The cartels pull their muscle directly from the trained local, state, and federal police. As cartels continued to ramp up over the last three or four years, they are now recruiting directly from the Mexican Army. Don’t expect the death tolls to drop south of the border any time soon.
Compared to other Central American countries, Mexico is relatively mild. Mexican cartels pull in players from Honduras, El Salvador, Colombia, and Venezuela to keep their forces on the cutting edge of barbarism. From this hell MS-13 arises. The black fool Reid on CNN and this black congresswoman Lawrence lie through their teeth to convince LOFOs that MS-13 is a flash in the pan, nothing of note, a signal of President Trump’s irrational behavior. Bullshit.
MS-13 is not a fad, or a throwaway notion. The cartels have held back for decades from expanding their violent ways into El Norte (USA), but MS-13 is exemplary of their primary runs toward doing just that. Wherever the money is, the Mexican cartels will move in that direction and extract their riches by any means possible.
America had best wake up. The war, YES, WAR, just below our southern border is now spilling into our cities beyond our wildest dreams. President Trump is righteously informed and righteously on guard, and taking direct action to extract this cancer from the US before it metastasizes like it did so quickly in Central America and Mexico.
To quote Uncle Touchy Joe Biden, “this is a big fucking deal.”
I commend the Trump administration in giving so much attention to this deadly problem in our country, and I give a big FUCK YOU to any medium or government representative who attempts to play this issue down. People, patriots, this is life and death on our doorsteps.
I strongly suggest reading El Narco by Ioan Grillo for an unbiased history of Mexican drug cartels, and El Sicario by Molly Molloy. If the cartel flood into the US is not stemmed, these reads will give you a view to our bloody future.
