Filling a car with bleach

Bleach is pretty awesome, but can it keep a vehicle running instead of gas? Time to find out.

  1. Bleach will cure your child of autism don’t you know. It’s a miracle mineral don’t you know.

What do you want to bet the funnel for the oil had a cork in the bottom and the “bleach” was gasoline in a bleach bottle. How many engines are going to be destroyed because Obama voters are the kind of people who are going to go out and try it?

  2. Household bleach is 90+ percent water and 5 to 10 percent sodium hypochlorite. If it really was bleach instead of gasoline, the fuel filter must have worked pretty well for it to have run as well as it did for as long as it did. He just didn’t run it long enough for the water to get into the fuel system sufficiently enough to overwhelm the filter capacity.

A pretty good example of stupidity just ruining an apparently operational vehicle though.

  3. Fake. Oil doesn’t pour like that, even the lightest grades, watch at 1:39 to 1:41. Clorox is 8.25% hypochlorite and the rest is water and takes on a blueish tint in the sunlight. Faker most likely used “white gas”; lantern fuel.
Anybody stupid enough to try this deserves what they get. The punk that posted this shit is gonna receive some serious karma some day, and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving asshole.

  4. It wasn’t smoke, it was steam. The intake manifold was frosty from the bleach. This reminds me of the video on how to install an earphone jack on your new Iphone by drilling a hole in one of the speakers.
