They Should Retitle It “The Hot Dog Monologues”

For the third year, students at Carleton College in Minnesota are putting on their own, more trans friendly production, of the “Vagina Monologue.

Titled “Stripped,” it’s the brain child of former graduate student Kat George (who self-describes as being “undead and Hetrophobic” on Facebook). The production ranges from “social justice to menstruation” and is sponsored by the Gender and Sexuality Center, Women’s and Gender Studies and the Q and A House (Queer and Allies House).

Last year’s production featured pieces titled “Mircoaggressions,” “Trigger Warnings,” “Black Lives Matter At Carleton,” and “The Morning I Woke Up A Boy.” The program  warned audience members, “This production addresses topics such as sexual violence, genitalia, drugs, alcohol, sexual content, slurs, and microaggressions. We encourage you to take care of yourself. If you need to leave at any point, there are exits located on the sides of the stage and in the back of the Chapel.”

Sounds like a fun-filled evening, doesn’t it? Can’t wait for them to take this show on the road.

  1. Sometimes, I think those vying for the title of, ‘Most Victimized’, should be given one way tickets to Venezuela, or Syria, or Iran, or China, or Cuba, or N Korea, or Libya, or even Russia, or even the cesspools of the homeless in San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

I’m beginning to feel that college youth are rotten brats, who don’t know the first thing about being a victim. The #metoo 💩 is exactly that. Progressive 🐂💩, spoon fed to you, replacing your brains, making you slavebot parodies of humans.

so do all hollywood productions these days, so what is so ground breaking about this show ?

hell that’s the main propaganda list spewed everyday on the view, isn’t it ?

the new black mountain lion movie probably has all those things and few you left out too and it’s a block buster to boot or so they say.

  3. I’m sure those who “wrote” pieces for this production will proudly mention it on their resumes as they go forth to inflict themselves on the art community. I’m sure their work will really boast their credentials among the easily offended.
