CA: Huntington Beach Votes to Sue Over Sanctuary Laws

KFI:

Late Monday night, the Huntington Beach City Council voted 6-1 to file a lawsuit against the state of California challenging the sanctuary laws.

The law makes it so that local law enforcement isn’t able to cooperate with federal immigration agencies when dealing with illegal immigrants.

While Los Alamitos voted in March to exempt itself from the law, Huntington Beach could become the first city in California to sue the state over the issue, Mayor Mike Posey said. The United States Department of Justice is suing California as well. MORE

  1. I had to leave Orange County because I lost my good neighbors and they were replaced by an illegal alien clown house. They tried to break in whenever I was gone. I’m glad somebody there is finally starting to fight back.
