Few Topics Burn My A$$ More Than “Squatter’s Rights”

Big Owe sent me this story about squatters becoming a huge problem in Majorca, Spain.

People leave for a week or two and come back and they find dirtbag gypsies have taken over their house, and there’s “nothing anyone can do about it” because “squatter’s have rights.

Really? Then why can’t I just SQUAT IT BACK? Now I have the rights, no?

What progressive, liberal, dumbass wrote laws giving THIEVES (and that’s what they are) rights?

And you know what else burns my ass? One of the “victims” in the video is a German guy who is sort of chuckling over his predicament. It’s this sort of attitude that emboldens squatters? Hell, it’s this sort of attitude that emboldens Muslims to take over the entire country.

Here’s a link. I’m pissed. (Check out what these filthy urchins did to one of properties in just weeks time.)

(Full disclosure. I had a property where the tenant tried to pull squatter’s rights bullshit on me. He left before it got ugly, because it would have. I’d rather go to jail than to allow a deadbeat drunk (and that what he was) use some sort of progressive law bullcrap on me, and I think he saw that in my eyes.)

  1. There would be dead people if a POS squatter did that to me. My patience for this crap is gone, and I don’t have a burning desire to live to 100. That will make for a bad combination for someone that pulls something like that on me.

  2. Jeez, 15 years ago my shop foreman took a vacation with his family and came back to people living in his house. Tweekers. he calls me the day he’s suppose return to work and tells me whats going on. I beat feet up there to see a big presence of LEO and a stand off. So I find my guy talking to LEO. He’s not going down the right track. I jump in. “Who has title to this house?” LEO is like “WUT”. I repeat it. We establish my guy, and his mortgage holder hold title. Next question, do these people that are trespassing have a signed rental agreement? Nope. LEO is confused. Then I hit them with, “you know this is bull shit. Either move them out or leave so we can.” They moved them out. The heart breaker was my foreman had a 9 year old little princess at the time and she didn’t stop crying for about a week.

  3. I came fairly close to that when selling my house. The bitch claimed on the day of signing that her ex had stolen most of her down payment. We went from $20,000 down to $6,000. down.
I am completely packed and ready to move out of state.
The realtor and I agree to ‘take the chance’.
The bitch only paid 3 consecutive months.
    I’m out of state.
I file to toss her ass out.
She’s busy spending money on a f**king attorney to keep me at bay. Money that should be coming to me.
The chicken-fu*king laws of Oregon protects her instead of me.
It took 12 months before I could ‘legally’ enter my property and reclaim my rights.
FUCK the laws that inherently protect the cheaters of society…..
Don’t get me started on ASSHOLES that are allowed to circumvent trusting, worthwhile people by using and abusing the liberal laws instituted by corrupt Fuc*ing
    governmental ASSHOLES.

  4. Many politicians are clever thieves, they take care of their own.
Until forced to stop, if they ever are.

Walter Williams pointed out on Mark Levin’s first new Sunday night show, too many Americans today are happy to live at the expense of others.
(And they vote for politicians that help them do that, in exchange for votes.)

  5. Damn good thing it’s Saturday, I probably won’t sleep for a shit thinking about that cunt and the bullshit that the fucking government allows her and denies me.

That was 9 years ago and I still can’t let go.
So far, that’s the worse I’ve ever been fucked because of liberal government and I’m not about to forget it.
    FU*k I despise liberals.
This is my reserved version, you likely don’t want to hear my pissed-off version.

  6. We had a jerk who tried to steal a 1/2 acre of our property. He started building on it at 2:00 AM using lanterns. No joke. His closest neighbor, who despised him, called us to alert us. It takes a lot to piss me off to murderous levels. I went flying out of the house before my DH could stop me wearing a hot pink bathrobe, Sylvester the Cat slippers and carrying a Mossberg. The language out of my mouth would have scared a drunken Congress jerk.

He called the cops but they did not find him either amusing or credible. We had to get our attorney on him because the focker pulled up some of our property stakes and threw them away. He got charged with something or other I can’t remember and paid a fine.

The kicker is this *sswipe thought he was special because his daddy was head of the Demorat party in the county north of us. We had a party with multiple neighbors when *sswipe moved.

  7. One of my earliest jobs, in my 20’s, I worked for a guy who ran a private security service. One of the services
he offered was ‘house sitter’. That’s what I did for 4 years. Sat in mansions with a .357 magnum
and a pump shotgun and usually two guard dogs. I checked in once an hour. At night I went
home and the over night guy took over. Made $15 an hour for being a house sitter.
I had to be bondable. Easiest job I ever had. Some of the homes were so big several guards were on duty.

  8. Lord help CA, if Brown gets hold of this idea!

Already, a landlord has hell to pay, trying to evict a freeloading tenant. And when the horrid tenant finally leaves, they are apt to take everything not nailed down (or glued, or screwed), doors, windows, medicine cabinets, carpeting, fencing, sinks, tubs, counter tops, cabinets, faucets, tile and copper wiring.

  9. Squatting is very popular among Obama’s spawn. The last comment of that older man who had trashed a house, that squatting was more humane for the “homeless” than living in a car or under a bridge, look for that as a campaign slogan — soon.

  10. This has been a big issue in CO. Property owners are forced to go through lengthy and expensive eviction processes meanwhile their property is destroyed. Of course drawing every vagrant in America for pot and drugs has increased the problem. Often deployed military are the victims. Republicans proposed a bill to some fix some of the loopholes but the Dems of course aren’t interested and they control half of state congress. They mentioned people needing shelter from a storm. Apparently I’m their world it is reasonable to change the locks on a property you are using to shelter from a storm for s few hours. Even the bill proposed wasn’t a complete fix. Allowing you to have the right to be compensated for all damages and fees to evict. Most of these squatters don’t have a pot to piss in. Good luck finding them once they finally leave.

  11. Fur….. “….It’s just going to be you and ME, ME, ME cursing squatters for two minutes….”

Would you say, “It’s just going to be I cursing squatters…” Dumb, dumb dumb.

“I” is a subject, Fur. Me is a perfectly good word and the misuse of “I” is becoming more and more disgusting.

  12. Fortunately, that is not a legal thing in the US. People can trespass but they have not ownership rights…..well unless the government decides otherwise. Some states have slow eviction laws which sucketh.

  13. I had a tenant that my girlfriend at the time convinced me to let her move in to the guest house. This was in a very Liberal town.
A few months after 9-11 she just stopped paying rent. The first month, she stated she didn’t have it, the second month the same thing. Third month I went over to have it out and she stated she was saving up to move out and go on a dance tour to ‘Heal the Earth’ after 9-11. I advised her she owed me thousands of dollars in rent.
This aging idiot told me that her dancing (she was way long in the tooth) and healing the earth was more important that the vulgar concept of rent. She was a dancer and dance was the root of human expression, bla bla…
I dug into my files and found my girlfriend did not get her to sign a rental agreement.
The next week, the Dancer left for her day job as a hostess at a restaurant.
I had a moving company pack her shit and put it into storage.
She came home to a locked and empty house.
I had her shit put into storage, and paid for one month rental
When the cops came I told them I she moved out weeks ago.
I heard from the storage company later that they sold her crap after she abandoned it.
It cost me lost rent and a moving fee, and I had to repaint the entire house with Killz primer due to her Hippy decorating attempts (dark purple walls, black and yellow flowers with gold leaf).
But I got rid of that Bitch.
Saw her ass at some other restaurant (hostessing again) and loudly announced prior to leaving that she was a squatter and owed me thousands of dollars and started grilling her on when her deadbeat ass would pay me.
She ran away from me and my awful expectations of her paying her own way.

  14. Must be a “hispanical” thing.
I knew a guy from El Salvador who told me that they (El Salvadorans) had to hire people to watch their houses every time they went on vacation. And that the guys you paid to watch it were the ones who would rob you, though they didn’t allow squatters to take over.

    Funny people.

  15. If someone came home after a vacation and found “squatters” in their house and immediately felt “fearful for their life” could they just shoot the “intruders” before telling anyone about it and be safe under the castle doctrine?
“A castle doctrine, also known as a castle law or a defense of habitation law, is a legal doctrine that designates a person’s abode or any legally occupied place – e.g., a vehicle or home – as a place in which that person has protections and immunities permitting one, in certain circumstances, to use force to defend oneself against an intruder, free from legal prosecution for the consequences of the force used. The term is most commonly used in the United States, though many other countries invoke comparable principles in their laws.”

  16. I was not so old back in 1981 when an illegal alien family moved into my farm house. The first time I met him he came to the door with a sawed off shotgun which I later found out was my expensive Beretta hr had modified after spending two minutes getting into my gun safe. I went to the local Sheriff and asked him to help me get rid of them which, he was willing to do until I mentioned the shotgun…and he was right, risking lives for real estate would not go well with our liberal newspaper. So, on the night of a televised boxing match which I figured he would be watching I wrapped myself in a blanket and crashed through the large front window and was armed with a pistol. His kids were also watching so I was able to convince the parents to leave…even here in Texas, it took 90 days for eviction and I still had the problem of gunfire so I did it myself. They got into the car they had bought and drove off..so I was lucky but I remembered the Sheriff telling me that having the shotgun in my house was a felony so it was destroyed. This was my second serious problem with strangers in the farmhouse so it was no surprise to me to learn that my 100 year old wood clapboard house and barn were chosen to be listed on the Historical Society as it was very rare . With some friends, I wrapped a chain around it and sawed the four corners then pulled it down. If the listing had been completed then the house could not be altered in any way and most of the land could not be sold…there are many different kinds of squatters..

  17. There are things you can do.
Remove Circuit breakers or panel main, cap off main water line, all do the repairs that you need to do. Nothing they can do about it because you don’t have the money for rent or “ finish” repairs.
You can’t play fair with dirt bags, most times the cops will be on your side, just know where the line is so you don’t cross it yourself. Brandishing a weapon will probably get you in a world of hurt, but always be prepared.

  18. I had a teacher stiff me for six (6) months rent…..

They put me off for 90 days of we’ll pay…..

    I started eviction and took another 90 days…..Jacksonville, Florida….

It seems someone caught a dui and they gave the attorney my money….

Promised to pay me back…..I was at a different duty station….glad I didn’t hold my breathe…..

If you owe someone…..pay your damn bill.

  19. Some of you answered the big question – why do certain municipalities do this? Because they’re usually leftist. This is just one more way to force people to mistrust each other by allowing scumbags to legally abuse others.

Every Single Plank Of The Communist Manifesto is geared toward collapsing a society from within. This is just one tactic.

  20. I once worked for a slum lord, after eviction didn’t work, we moved in.
The yard became a fire party, burning all the furniture piled up at the curb.
Hey, $100 for a weekend and a bottle of whatever, good money.
