Chicago parents live pretty cozily with the actual shooting that’s been going on in their city, but a TV show filming fake shooting sets them off.
Equally as hypocritical is Hollywood using guns to sell as entertainment as they lecture the rest of the law abiding gun owning public that they are causing a crisis of violence because their unseen guns in holsters and home safes puts blood on their hands.
Parents irked by Katie Holmes’ FBI drama pilot filming next to Chicago school.
Jennifer Kotecki said she was appalled that a sniper scene for a TV pilot was being filmed Tuesday in a park next to her seventh-grader’s Near North Side school.
“It is unconscionable that the city would allow this to even occur on our public property. We’re just on the heels of what happened down in Florida. I mean, it’s ridiculous,” Kotecki told the Tribune as she referenced the Feb. 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
The school is in spring break, STFU, or vote!
She’s right.
It should have been a real shooting.
It is Chicago after all.
They don’t want competition. Also, they didn’t get asked to be in the show.
