The show was corrupted when Al Gore’s daughter started “writing” for them around 1999-2000. The early seasons had it all – child abuse, drunk driving, all kinds of alcoholism and drug references, almost adultery on several occasions, stereotypes galore. And overtime, The Simpsons became the conscience of Liberal America. Burning the show to the ground over political correctness was the only way it was going to end.
