Cecile Richards received a hero’s send-off on her last day as president of Planned Parenthood, but pro-life activists say her uncompromising stance on abortion and alliance with the Democratic Party have left the organization on shaky ground.
During her 12-year tenure, which officially came to an end Monday, Ms. Richards made Planned Parenthood into a political powerhouse that routinely spends tens of millions of dollars to elect Democrats to office. Yet growing political influence and increased taxpayer funding coincided with fewer medical services, fewer patient visits, massive clinic closures — and more abortions.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, said Planned Parenthood became “an organization obsessed with abortion” on Ms. Richards‘ watch. more

I’m still trying to figure out how abortion can be a “right to privacy” when public funds are being used.
Like most liberal organizations over the past few decades. Many began with reasonable aims, but in recent years have been taken over by the vocal extremists.
There’s a lot more money in vocal extremism. But it sure hurts the original aims.
She will “never” be able to walk away from the murderous carnage she has marshaled.

Margaret Sanger never had “reasonable aims” unless you include elimination of the black race. Hitler was an admirer, and took her eugenic philosophy to its logical conclusion.
@Anon – perhaps some, but if you look at the founders who have left their organizations you see a lot of them disgusted at how their vision has been twisted.
