My father can’t believe that I finished graduate school in a mega-liberal program and am more of a hardcore conservative than ever. It’s not actually that hard to understand. There’s right and wrong, darkness and light. There’s the right way and the wrong way. There’s the smart way and the dumb way. This teacher (read: Marxist indoctrinator) is obviously wrong and dumb.
There are ways to apply ideological Scotch guard to oneself.
– Learn a few key formal and informal logical fallacies.
– Read Hazlitt and Sowell and Bastiat.
– Work a job or two where you are treated like a rented mule. Hard physical labor.
– Read the Bible through a couple of times.

There is no longer a need to sentence your child to 12 years in public school. With all the information available at our fingertips today, the need for brick and mortar schooling has passed.
Of course the same goes for liberal arts colleges as well. Unless you plan to be an engineer, physician or scientist, what purpose does it serve exactly?

@ Dianny – Your right about that. But they won’t go down without a fight. The most effective way to effect mass indoctrination is to do it in groups and classes. I can see the pot of rebellion boiling.
