Revolting Developments

Netflix is going to be offering a 5th season of the cult hit series “Arrested Development” starting May 29th. To promote the return of the series, Netflix gave an exclusive interview with members of the cast to the New York Times. With the accusations of Jessica Walter (Lucille Bluth) of sexual harassment by co-star Jeffry Tambor (George Bluth) during the sit down, Netflix got more media attention then they wanted from the event. Here

Series lead Jason Bateman, who tried to explain Tambor’s behavior, has now had to apologize publicly for “mansplaning.” Here

For the record, Tambor lost his gig on the Netflix series, “Transparent”,  after charges of sexual harassment in November. Here

  2. Bateman shouldn’t have apologized.
What he said was right, some actors are total uptight dickwads, especially during filming. Just because someone is ‘mean’ that’s no reason to act like they harassed you. For God’s sake.

  3. I hate that show, my daughter tried to get me to watch it and I didn’t even make it thru the episode she was watching. Besides Jessica Walter creeps me out ever since she was in Play Misty For Me. And if I remember right Arrested Development was originally created by Ronnie “Opie” Howard which is another reason I can’t stand it. I never was a Ronnie Howard fan or his equally dimwitted brother Clint in Gentle Ben with the bear, they’re both overrated.
