What would you call a state that persecutes those that report the truth? – IOTW Report

What would you call a state that persecutes those that report the truth?

What would you call a state that persecutes those that report the truth; that arrests, charges and imprisons within hours those that are exposing a sickness in society?  –  Mark Angelides

Mr. Angelides asks this question at great personal risk. Reporting from the new fascist state of Great Britain, jail time awaits reporters who dare express thoughts outside of the state sanctioned parameters of what is acceptable and not acceptable.

Tommy Robinson will be jailed for 13 months for reporting on Islamic child-rape gangs. Reporting on the Robinson arrest seems to be verboten in the fourth reich, as well.

  1. It’s not a matter of “name calling.”

    EXCERPTS
“Judge Marson’s order cites section 4(2) of the 1981 Contempt of Court act justifying the reporting ban. …the argument FOR reporting restrictions is that they help make the trial stay fair and prevent jury contamination. This rationale wouldn’t fly in the United States – as @Timcast put it, thank God for the First Amendment. (Also due thanks – the Supreme Court in New York Times v. United States) Read that Orwellian language. Reporting on Tommy’s imprisonment is “necessary to avoid a substantial risk of prejudice to the administration of justice in *these* proceedings.” That makes no sense! There’s no jury trial for contempt of court! He’s already been sentenced! This is an incredible abuse of reporting restrictions, which already are a noxious instrument in the hands of the UK government. Judge Marson convicted Tommy of Contempt of Court, and banned anyone from reporting on – or criticizing – her actions. Abuse. Of. Power.”

  3. This tyrannical abuse of judicial authority may well be the catalyst that gets the Brits off their asses and into the streets. If it doesn’t, then merry olde England is history.

  4. Please IOTW keep posting stories on Tommy Robinson and help get the word out and spread around. This is a real horror. If they get away with this and kill him its coming to us very soon.

  5. The United Kingdom suffered 885,138 military deaths in WWI, out of a population of 45.4 million. (http://www.centre-robert-schuman.org/userfiles/files/REPERES%20–%20module%201-1-1%20-%20explanatory%20notes%20–%20World%20War%20I%20casualties%20–%20EN.pdf)

They suffered 383,600 military deaths in WWII. (https://www.nationalww2museum.org/students-teachers/student-resources/research-starters/research-starters-worldwide-deaths-world-war).

That’s a combined total of almost 1.3 million men, with the courage and fortitude to serve their country in war, whose genes were not passed on to future generations.
Remember that this Memorial Day. We not only suffer the loss in the “present” but suffer the loss in future generations.
Are there enough of Kipling’s Saxons left to awaken? I know not but believe their time needs to be soon, or not at all.

  6. Wiscodave makes a very important point, one that is almost never mentioned. We joke about the French being surrender monkeys, but their best and brightest, together with England’s best and brightest, and no small number of our best and brightest, died fighting and killing Germany’s best and brightest. All while the fags and cowards stayed home and procreated. Is it any wonder we’re in the shape we’re in?

And education draft deferments saw to it that those fags and cowards got the advanced degrees and are now running all of our education institutions….

  7. This is the very distal end of Great Britain. Now it’s the United Kingdumb and Dumber. Millions of great, brave men and a few thousand women died to keep it great. Soon, they will be pulling down the statues of those brave men and women, because they offend the sensibilities of the trash that have invaded this great country during the last forty years.

  9. Anyone who calls for my disarmament in any manner basically wants what (former) Great Britain has become.

Speak the truth about islam…go to jail.
Wait around to be run over by a truck, shot, knifed, or bombed by a muslim.
Surrender yourself to totalitarian “health care” where nameless, faceless bureaucrats decide you should die.

  10. He has a lot more supporters than the media will lead you to believe- I went to his free speech rally in London recently and there were thousands gathered. I don’t think all is lost, many people have had enough and are ready to fight!

My ancestors, whose bones lie in England and Ireland, continue their cry loud enough for the present “subjects” to hear and stand for for Freedom and Liberty.
    “So may it be,”

  12. Ask Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, who’s video “The Innocence of Muslims” was blamed for the Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack at U.S. diplomatic compounds in Libya by Obama/Clinton et al. He was subsequently jailed and now lives in poverty after finally being released. It isn’t exactly persecuting the truth but proof we too have political factions use the court system to punish, destroy people either to shut them up or save their own asses.
