Lawmaker suggests segregated beach time

NYDN-

A Brooklyn city lawmaker is sponsoring sex-segregated beach days to give his Jewish and Muslim constituents an opportunity to enjoy the seaside.

City Councilman Chaim Deutsch announced the first ever “Southern Brooklyn Beach Day,” with separate dates for men and women by the sandy spot behind Kingsborough Community College.

“A lot of people are disenfranchised for religious reasons,” the Democrat said. “They don’t use the beach because they don’t go mixed swimming. This is to give those people an opportunity for a day out at the beach.”

  1. I just love it how they package this bullshit in words such as “disenfranchisement.” No, genius, disenfranchisement is when official forces don’t allow you to participate in something using discrimination as a basis. No one is telling Muslims or Jews they can’t go swimming – no one except themselves, that is. It is THEIR choice or religious belief that keeps them away, not the prelude to anti-Muslim government pogroms.

Denying people access to public property based on their biological sex, however, is indeed discrimination and it’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

  2. If people don’t use the beach in Brooklyn it’s more likely because of water quality.

And yes, quit shielding the primitives from their idiotic ideologies.
