Poll: Trump Beats Obama’s Approval, GOP Voters More Eager than Dems for Midterms

Breitbart: Predictions of a Blue Wave in the upcoming midterm elections fueled by opposition to President Donald Trump may not be considering the president’s popularity with his base and the enthusiasm of Republican voters, according to a new poll by Rasmussen Reports.

On June 7, 2018, Trump had a 49 percent approval rating compared to Barack Obama, who had a 46 percent approval rating on June 7, 2010.

The poll also found GOP voters more enthusiastic than Democrats and independents about casting a vote in November and found voters overall more enthusiastic about getting to the ballot box than in the last midterm. more

  1. Hope to see every conservative out voting in VA Primary tomorrow, “I don’t like the candidates” isn’t an excuse. Gotta get rid of Kaine particularly. Decide who the strongest contender is and VOTE.

  2. I would like to personally thank David Hogg, Alyssa Milano, Samantha Bee, Robert De Niro, Nancy Pelosi, and every member of the Resistance media for making this happen.

You guys have done the heavy lifting to bolster pro-Trump voter enthusiasm for 2018. We couldn’t have done it without you!

  3. Conservatives have not been this fired up since ’84! Ronnie won 49 states in ’84. Of course you younguns don’t recall but the Commies were the Dems in ’84 so the map was Blue. A very Royal Blue!

  4. @Truckbuddy. Wouldn’t miss the VA primary for anything! Time to begin turning the commonwealth red again and beat the northern VA carpetbagging swampsters.

I could back any candidate against Timmy the tool, but my preference is Nick Freitas.

  5. We’re emerging from 8 of the darkest years this country has ever seen in terms of the attempted dismantling of our foundation.
    Of course we’re motivated!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  6. Yesterday I was surprised at myself, feeling a wave of immense national pride watching Air Force One taxiing on the tarmac in Singapore. Seeing that great big beautiful plane emerge from the darkness with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA emblazoned on it, as we rightfully reassume our role as leader of the free world, really struck me.

I wasn’t expecting that. What a great feeling.

If nothing more comes out of Singapore, that was good enough for me.

    Trump needs help. Go vote.

Timmy, you’re Hillary’s handmaiden and you are finished.

  7. Liberals never understand the notion of getting angry and actually doing what you are entitled to do – going out and voting. They’d rather throw violent tantrums, call people names and try to ruin the lives of those they disagree with. You cannot attack this country and the values that made it great without getting push back. Just ask the NFL, Dick’s, Netflix and all the other companies that decide to take a stand against the Constitution or National Anthem. Coming in November, a wave against all those that root against America. And hopefully the primaries are clearing out some of team red that joins the Dems and are trying to keep the globalist establishment in power.

  8. @Phenry, Yeah, Stewart should have won the Primary for Governor, guess he was weaker than Gillespie. Bad deal, but I voted. Maybe Freitas is the man this time around. VCDL has a toss-up. Don’t like Nick’s commercials, tho. Liberty PAC needs a better agency. Man against Boy? They can do better than that.
