Newt is bailing on him on Twitter, a few others said, they are now Never Trumpers, because of what happened. What was the misstep? Others–> we’ve lost the midterms because of this!

Of what?!? Because of what?

I heard the press conference. I don’t get it. Were they wanting Trump to get Putin in a headlock to make him confess to past misdeeds? I’m seriously lost as to why everyone is screaming treason.

This was my response-

Trump is skeptical of the intel that proved Russia meddled with our election.

Trump feels this is a direct assault on the legitimacy of his presidency because… that’s exactly what it is.
This is what the left believes.
Newt says Trump needs to clarify about his “questioning of our intel.”
Bullshit.
Our intel has to clarify to the American people about
-the level of the Russian meddling.
-if this is unusual activity.
-what impact, if any at all, this had on the outcome of the election.
They need to be loud and clear that the meddling they are talking about did not screw Hillary and lead to a Trump victory.
This is important so that the left cannot forever use language that delegitimizes Trump, saying that he’s been installed by Russia.
