Leftish Tech Site Gizmodo Finally Notices Twitter Censorship Toward Conservatives

When you search for an account on Twitter you type it in the search bar and a drop down gives you the recommended accounts which match your search.

Typing in conservatives yields many alternate accounts with alternate spellings instead of the exact name you are searching. Many results point to parody accounts instead of real accounts.

People impacted include Jim Hoft, Mike Cernovich, Laura Loomer, Paul Joseph Watson, Stefan Molyneux… conservatives like that.

Some unaffected names:

Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro, the National Review’s David French, the Resurgent’s Erick Erickson, and Glenn Beck.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Do I see a pattern? An Anti-Trump pattern?

  1. When you go to the President profile, Twitter suggests you to follow Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. If you go to BO or HC account they suggest you to follow celebrities like Oprah, Justin Bieber, or CNN and NYT.

Also, this week I couldn’t retweet a tweet from Benjamin Netanyahu. It said “tweet not found”, but when I went to his account, the tweet was there.

Crowder is/was a mild “never Trump”. Unlike Ben, Dave, + Erick – he never explicitly derides things Don does. He has for many months obliquely attacked Don. Crowder is not as far to the left/progressive as Ben, Dave and Erick, but he is not a Reagan/Goldwater man.
