Well, Walter Kim, Liberals are still Liberals, but they got *so* weird they had to change their group name to try to fool everyone. Otherwise, they are still affiliated with the party of racism, totalitarianism (biggest gov’t), and all the rest. Sorry you are too smart for your own good and us Deplorables..
The most intolerant people are the ones who preach tolerance. The most illiberal people are the liberals, They’re all hypocrites.

Leftists have really never been liberals. The classic liberals of the 1960s and 1970s were free thinkers who were frequently eccentric. But true liberals believed in freedom of expression and action.
Leftists, on the other hand, have never believed in individual choice. Even in the 1970s (and I knew a lot of leftists), they were believers in group think, intolerant of new or different ideas, and wholly believed in totalitarian governments come hell (usually) or high water (if you were lucky).
