Few Chinese think that Mr Trump’s primary concern is to rebalance the bilateral trade deficit. If it were, they say, he would have aligned with the EU, Japan and Canada against China rather than scooping up America’s allies in his tariff dragnet. They think the US president’s goal is nothing less than remaking the global order.
In Chinese eyes, Mr Trump’s response is a form of “creative destruction”. He is systematically destroying the existing institutions — from the World Trade Organization and the North American Free Trade Agreement to Nato and the Iran nuclear deal — as a first step towards renegotiating the world order on terms more favourable to Washington.
Once the order is destroyed, the Chinese elite believes, Mr Trump will move to stage two: renegotiating America’s relationship with other powers. Because the US is still the most powerful country in the world, it will be able to negotiate with other countries from a position of strength if it deals with them one at a time rather than through multilateral institutions that empower the weak at the expense of the strong.

Unfortunately for them Trump is much smarter and much more street smart than that vermin. He’s got a few people he’s surrounded him self with that are pretty cagey too. I can understand people desire not wanting to get wrapped up in conspiracy theories. But I also think it’s naive not to realize we are only seeing or hearing about 20% of what actually taking place.
Mr. Trump is like a lot of Louis L’Amour lead characters. They know their own minds, aren’t afraid of the fight, and strike back twice as hard.

Wrestler here. When does “Off Balancing” not matter? You know the answer, and that would be the Trump admin.
@Bad_Brad – I’m not that concerned with this “by the end of the month” idea, although the sooner the better of course. The way I see it, DJT does indeed have a complex plan to destabilize and bring down the institutions that are in the way of MAGA, but the sequence of events is far more critical than the timetable. Of course, elections are fixed dates that need to be dealt with, but things have to happen in a fairly specific order. The institutions that make up “the swamp” are large, powerful, rich, and have had many years to establish themselves. DJT can’t just attack them all at the same time.
Think of CDI, Controlled Demolition Inc., the company in Phoenix MD owned/run by the Loizeaux family. They plan for months, and then take their time weakening key structural parts of large structures and carefully placing precisely calculated high explosive charges exactly where they need to be. Once all is in readiness, those charges are set off in another precisely calculated and timed sequence. The resulting complete destruction happens very quickly and with little or no damage to surrounding people and things.
I wonder if the Trump knows tha Loizeaux family? I bet he does.

If you follow Q, he’s been spouting off about big shit going down before the end of July. He, they, are still doing it. It would be awesome if it happened. It would be awesome if Q were legit. For many reasons, he/they maybe. But he’s got two more shopping days to prove it. Again, you would be foolish to believe there’s not some serious clandestine shit going on.
Glancing at Q on occasion, I see where he keeps saying to trust Sessions. I just don’t know what to make of that.
Here is my thinking on Q. Even if he is a figment of our imagination nothing else has brought so many diverse people into being on the same page. For example, yesterday I was in the grocery store and a guy I ordinarily never would have said anything to walked passed going the other way. Tattooed from the neck down, couple little kids with him, and he was wearing a Q style shirt. It’s the skull, big eyes, and about 5-7 vertical lines at his jaw. If you’ve read Q you know the pic. Anyway as we passed I said Q kicks ass, and he responded, fuckin A. I’ll probably never see him again, but I know he is on our team. There is a following, maybe not for an individual but for an ideal. This letter may or may not be legit, but I believe there is a great deal of patriotism in most countries and having something like Q, coming from the last best chance on Earth gives a lot of people hope.
