  2. If you hadn’t included TL I would have. That is one hot record!

    I also like James Ray. The Beatles were going to do another song he recorded but Freddie and the Dreamers beat them to it. That was one of the (many) reasons they stopped making covers.

  7. Gloria Jones was Marc Bolan of T-Rex’s girlfriend. Northern Soul. as a dj, although the Soft Cell remake was genius, i was soooo sick of having to play it every frigging night for years that i started playing the Gloria Jones version.

  12. OK. I saw no attribution for the first song, Girls just wanna have fun. But it sounded like Luxe Interior from the Dead Kennedys.

    Am I close? Sounded a bit like Holiday in Cambodia.
