And over the weekend, the D-List bishop of Knoxville, Rick Stika, got into a bit of a Twitter war when he posted:
Sexual abuse occurs by sick people who are predators. Some are gay and others not. Young and old of all shapes and colors. It is estimated that 5 % of the male population may fall into this category. Trying to blame it on gay folks or straight folks is not the problem.
Either Bishop Stika is part of the homosexual collective in the Church or he is completely uninformed on this topic. Various people jumped onto his Twitter page and called him to task for trying to whitewash the issue and make it seem as though this abuse problem is equally distributed over hetero and homosexual men. That’s not even close to true, as the bishop’s own reports prove out, an inconvenient piece of information he did not want to engage in. Eighty percent of the case involved homosexual predation, and that was just the case with minors.
One hundred percent of the cases of adult clergy and seminarians involved homosexual predation. So what’s going on here across the board with the bishops as they stumble and bumble around trying to formulate some kind of response to all this?
The predominant theme emerging is this: Whatever it was or is, it is not — repeat — absolutely not a gay thing.
Then there are the outlets that don’t embrace the sin, yet turn a blind eye to it and provide further cover, like EWTN and the disgraceful “interview,” apologies to all journalists who conduct actualinterviews, conducted by Lauren Ashburn when she asked a string of softball questions of Donald Wuerl.
Did it occur to her to ask him if he’s gay? How about, had he ever in any way touched this problem of homosexuality in the clergy, were his fingerprints on any of it? How about what does he think of the hundreds of testimonies now coming out in social media from former seminarians saying they were hit on, assaulted and drummed out when they reported it?
Given the current climate, those would have been good questions. But she never asked them because the network is more concerned with not ticking off the bishops then getting to the truth even though various insiders tell us they know the truth.

From the previous thread I note that JD Hasty has given us lots to look at, think about and unfortunately damning for the “Cat Lickers” and their hierarchy. First step is to admit they’ve got a problem which they most often avoid and has brought them to their current situation.
This is exactly the rhetoric that has been coming out of The Wanderer, The Remnant, Church Militant, Ann Barnhardt, New Oxford Review and the rest of the conservative/orthodox Catholic media for decades… and most people had no idea. What is even more disgusting is that there has been active efforts to marginalize individuals at a parish level who dare to even ask questions.
The Church is absolutely infested with this filth at all levels and although dealing with these infiltrators masquerading as Bishops, Cardinals and priests is something that needs to happen now, it must not stop there.
The sexual predation is just one aspect of what these degenerate priests, Bishops & Cardinals have been up to and to put it mildly they have been acting w/o fear. The phony baloney “Catholic” media like EWTN since Mother Angelica was driven out and the National Catholic Distorter are FAKE NEWS and they have operated in EXACTLY the same way, using EXACTLY the same tactics that CNN, MSNBC &c have acted and used when they protect Democrat and establishment Republicans.
They have also been embezzling on a scale that is going to stun all except those among us who have been keeping up.

I have a question. Having had “the conversation” with homosexual relative claiming that the predation of children is no higher in the homosexual community than it is for “straights”…
Asking any homosexual out there, can you tell me your first sexual experience was not when you were under the age of consent? Anyone out there who has had no experiences or advances made before you became an adult?

Not saying that’s what makes anyone gay, but going back to my seminary experience they were grooming the population and none of the boys at that school were older than thirteen or fourteen when they started.

They will need to explain themselves if they keep fightig it, enstead of owning up to their Sexual issues. I ask if they aren’t Gay the are they Hetero, or some undecided group because they are Desiring something and it can’t just be their Hand’s.
Michael Voris is on a mission. A while back he came out with his @metoo moment. Something along the lines of while he was a seminarian he got hit on by someone in authority.
I wish him all the best as he strives to fix the problem. Understanding the problem is a very big first step but it seems he is fighting an up hill battle and the enemy is heavily entrenched, well supplied and vastly outnumbers Michael and his comrades.

I never understood why it was okay to move a dirty priest to another church after he was caught doing horrible things to children. Did they think the kids at the other church across town were ugly so they wouldn’t be so tempting???
